I wish I were here leaving a good review. After calling to confirm the location of my uncle (Fort Worth) and getting a confirmation that he was at the fort worth location days before the visitation /service, I had to find out at the scheduled time (2 PM) for the 1st visitation that he was at the DALLAS location. How can they confirm that he was in Fort Worth when he was actually in Dallas? I wasn't able to make sure my uncle looked great for the visitation until 4:30 PM. This caused the scheduled visitation at the cemetery to be pushed back by at least an hour and unnecessary stress during this already stressful time. They gave no clear answer as to how a mistake like this could happen.

During my 2 1/2 hours of waiting for my uncle to be transported from Dallas to Fort Worth, I noticed that they had left the door opened to a room that held another's loved one (they were in the casket, the casket was open). Although this could have been a mistake, it showed a lack of respect and privacy to that loved one.

My husband died in early March and Golden Gate Funeral Home on loop 820 handled all the arrangements. I cant express my appreciation for the excellent job they did in making the process as easy as it could be under the circumstances. The level of professional skill they showed in the preparation of my husband's body for his memorial and funeral is the best I have seen in many years. Not certain why their other location got bad reviews, but I would recommend them to anyone needing these services. I have already told my family to go to no other funeral home when I pass.
