Mark A. Ebelini’s practice is primarily devoted to real estate law, zoning, and land use law. He appears before both state and federal courts and administrative tribunals, as well as local government boards and hearing examiners. Mark represents clients in litigation involving title issues, eminent domain, easements, restrictive covenants, boundary disputes and other real estate related matters. His representation includes appellate practice. He has presented appeals to the Florida Supreme Court, the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and several Florida District Courts of Appeal. Mark also handles real estate transactions, including complex commercial contracts and closings.

James T. Humphrey is Of Counsel at Knott Ebelini Hart and practices primarily in the area of government, administrative, real estate, and land use law. He founded the firm in 1982, then known as Humphrey, Jones & Myers, and worked in private practice until he was elected Mayor of the City of Fort Myers in 2000, a position he held until November, 2009. Jim is counsel to the Lee Memorial Health System Board of Directors, a public body, and counsel to the Lee County Industrial Development Authority, a public body. He previously served as Trustee of Hodges University and as a member of the Board of Directors for Encore National Bank and as a member of the Board of Directors of Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center.
