Riverwalk Endoscopy Center

I visited this wonderful facility recently for a routine colonoscopy along with several associated small surgical procedures. From the minute I walked in the receptionist and staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and efficient. I had to fill out a few sheets of standard medical paperwork and then a nurse called my name and led me to a room where I changed from my clothing into a cloth hospital gown. I was taken to a curtained area and interviewed about my name, my doctor and procedures expected. This was comforting in that they are making sure to perform the proper procedure on the right patient. Shortly thereafter the anesthesiologist came in, asked about any allergies and previous anesthesia sessions and explained what they would be using for that days anesthesia. A few minutes later I was wheeled into the "operating suite", my IV was connected, anesthesia administered and 15 seconds later I was out. The procedure went without a hitch and the next thing I knew I was in recovery being offered something to drink. The recovery nurse was just as pleasant as one could be. I highly reccomend Riverwalk Endoscopy and Surgical center to anyone in need of their services.
