City of Fort Madison

In this city police and other law enforcement officials are allowed to VIOLATE the Iowa Smoke-Free Air Act and smoke in public buildings. They also allow ashtrays on city;/county property which is also a violation of the Smoke-Free Air Act. John Farmer smokes in his office at the Sheriff's Department. All these crimes occur because law enforcement officers, whose salary is paid with our tax-dollars, feel they are ABOVE the law. What a disgrace. City Manager Byron Smith ignores all complaints of these criminal acts that occur in Fort Madison.
