Saving Our Selves Inc., is a Non Profit Organization that was originally created in 2016 for the purpose of filling the void in the community for mental health and recovery based programs that allowed potential members to utilize the platform to learn to be the Hero of their own Story by "Saving Our Selves". We had created and provided a variety of ways that members could utilize their unique strengths to "raise funding" for their own personal overall health and wellness costs would cause financial stress that was extremely limiting to they types of services they would be able to pay for. Additionally, besides helping to create a platform to raise money to cover services for health and wellness, the goal was to also create a community that was supportive as people transition out of Therapy and Recovery Support and into healthy support for establishing healthy support outside of Recovery. Due to unfortunate circumstances, this non-profit had to be put on hold in July of 2017 due to Cyber Crimes and Personal and Professional Identity Fraud which seemed to target the owner of the company and some of the board members. We are excited to announce that WE LITERALLY are SAVING OUR SELVES and moving forward with this non-profit. Considering the message and brand we were creating the only way to move forward is to share OUR STORY of how we took back our Business and are "Saving Our Selves". We are beginning by creating a space where people can share their unique stories and/or reach out for help or support with issues that you are struggling with that potentially other members may be able to help you with. We realize the importance of sharing these stories because of the extremely difficult road we had to go through to move forward with Saving Our Selves, Inc. Because of this, our updated board members feel it is important that we are honest about our experience and hope that others can either learn from it and have an easier road than we did. The goal is to establish a community of people who can share similar stories about "Saving Our Selves" and also a place where like minded people may reach out for help and see if anyone else in the community may know of a resource or a way to help others to learn to how to make "Saving Our Selves" easier regardless of the situation. Therefore coming together as a community to help one another to Save Our Selves.
