Jaw Surgery
If you have a severely protruding jaw that contributes to a gummy smile, orthognathic surgery and orthodontics may be necessary to recontour the jaw so it is the correct size and in the correct place.
Gum Surgery
Nearly half of all adults in the United States suffer from some form of gum disease, whether gingivitis or advanced periodontitis. Dr. Diane Alvarez is our in-house periodontist, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of gum disease through deep cleanings, antibiotic therapy, patient education, and laser gum surgery, also known as LANAP Laser Dentistry.
Tooth Extractions
Before coming to Premier Smile Center, I had not been to a dentist in some time. I needed some periodontal work done, fillings and wisdom tooth extractions. What initially struck me was the warm welcome I received from the front office staff, and I had virtually no wait time before I was greeted by Dr. Johnson. She was incredibly professional and explained everything she was doing as she conducted the initial exam. She made her recommendations and scheduled a return visit to repair some fillings and pull two wisdom teeth.
Bone Grafting
Conventional periodontal treatment requires the periodontist to move gum tissue to improve visibility so they can ensure that the area has been completely cleaned. When infected tissue must be cut away, the depth of the pocket is reduced, and reattachment of gum tissues to the tooth root may require membrane or bone grafting. None of this is necessary with LANAP, which is known as the â€œNo Cut, No Sew, No Fearâ€ treatment. There are no scalpels or sutures needed to complete the procedure.

Orthodontics
Retainers are a non-negotiable after orthodontics, no matter what kind you wear. Retainer wear for Fastbraces patients, however, is usually only necessary for about 20 minutes a day, though each case will vary.
Invisalign Orthodontics
From the moment I arrived at Premier Smile Center over a year ago, Dr. Johnson and her entire staff have been amazing. Needless to say, anytime you have a cosmetic procedure done there will be nerves and lots of questions. Within minutes into my initial consultation, these concerns subsided. Unlike other dental practices I have been to, Dr. Johnson took her time and explained what I should expect from beginning to end with Invisalign.
