The worst Dining experience of my Lifetime



NEVER in my life have I ever had such a miserable Dining experience like I did for our good friends Birthday get together this past Saturday Evening. We decided to try out Kitchenetta on Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale and invited 20 of our friends. What a mistake that was, this restaurant experience destroyed any possibility of a joyful evening to an abrupt halt.



For starters let's discuss the food, our table was brought 3 big bowls of plain Arugula as our salad minus any dressing. After requesting dressing (oil & vinegar) plus some parmesan cheese quite a few times, one of the smileless staff was finally was able to put this request into action who brought over ONE little caraff of parmesan for our table of 20. Our next featured item and the ONLY desirable plate was the olive oil flat bread, from there McDonalds would have been a better option!. Next, we were presented with Macaroni & Peas! Yes, this is not a typo, not Macaroni and Cheese but Macaroni and Peas. I promise all of you would be much more delighted if you actually purchased a .95 cent box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese along with another .58 cent can of Green Giants saved the money and stayed home but wait hen there was the Rigatoni Bolognose! Seriously talking about buyers remorse my 10 year old nephew who isn't Italian could make a better dish. Unfortunately, I think that Vincent and his staff have watched just a few too many episodes of the Sopranos. The Gangsta wanna be's.



I do not want to seem ungrateful as my rear end began to hurt from the white Home Depot lawn chairs we were given to sit as we enjoyed the top notch ambiance while the paesano's whipped up there masterpieces in the kitchen.



Needless to say our party of 20 will NEVER revisit this "Hole" and would not be surprised to see another empty building on US1 which used to be called a restaurant. Thankfully we were amongst good company. Towards the end of this delight, I offered some creative suggestions to our waiter who stated in return, "well, our restaurant is not for everybody"! but should have stated "our hole" isn't for Anybody.



Now here is the icing on the cake! A few days later when I reviewed my credit card account stated $120 instead of the $80 I authorized, obviously the waiter thought he deserved an additional $40 tip for himself in addition the 20% we had already given to him upon cash settlement.
