Mountain View Motor Inn

Weather changed our plans so we headed east. Looking ahead on the map was a small town Ft Garland. Mountain View showed up on it search for lodging. So happy I called.. Amy was great. Thoroughly enjoyed talking to her once we finally arrived late Friday night. Room was very clean. Beds were comfortable and the WiFi was good. Saturday morning we were able to sit in the lobby and rock for a bit while My husband drank his coffee and I had some water and donuts.. Will definantly recommend and stay again..

We arrived late night from a long trip and found Mountain View Inn to be the most accomodating that we've experienced.The GM provided our best options at a very fair rate,where to eat if we wanted a full breakfast the following morning.Huge beds in our room and overall a wonderful Staff and Ownership......Most of all, we felt welcomed.We will make our way here again soon.

I was on vacation from 8/1 thru 8/16 this was my 6th hotel during our Colorado visit. The business says new owner I am not sure. Amy was the nicest person I met in Colorado. She advised us where we could eat. She directed us to the best places around the area. We were there during the meteor showers, she directed us where we could best see them. The towels were soft, not like sandpaper like I had at other hotels. The place was clean and up to date. The beds were comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Amy for the personal touch.

We were guests at the Mountain View Inn during the tragic Spring Fire, which devastated Forbes Park and the surrounding area in July 2018. Manager, Amy, went above and beyond to provide a room for us for a week plus . She and her staff were kind and concerned and helpful, as we went through the process of waiting for news and to be allowed into the Park to survey the damage. If you need accommodations in Fort Garland, Co, you won’t be disappointed! Great service from the heart!
