First off, I loved the apartment I rented from Evergreen, the location was perfect for school and I really felt like they cared about us as tenants because we always worked around their random inspections and paid rent early every month. I just received $300 back from our $1300 security deposit and was enraged at the breakdown of what they charged. Looking closer at the list of what was "needed" to clean or replace when we left were ALL things either present at move in or were noted in the previously mentioned random inspections.
I understand that there is always general "wear and tear" of a unit, but I loved our apartment and kept it clean and taken care of. To take 3/4 of a deposit to fix things that were already broken or not working well from someone's deposits is dishonest. I am so disappointed in this company and WISHED I had listened to the all the reviews online.

Don't rent from these people, like everyone else has said, they only care about the money. They have bad reviews for a reason.
