Walgreens

My experience has been one of embarrassment and humiliation. I have stayed with this pharmacy the last few months only because i have problems finding my medication. Both gulf shores and Foley Walgreens chose to discriminate against me for unknown reasons and the past few times they made sure to make it hard for me to get my medication. I have filled there the last 3 times and eventually received my medication. I am a 51 year old black man who is also a war veteran but I was treated like a common lowly drug dealer or junkie. I've had numerous surgeries and have immense pain but take my medication exactly as prescribed. The pharmacist judged me only by my skin color and the medication I receive. It's 2018 and i truly thought we were making progress with racial profiling and discrimination for the color of ones skin. I fought so hard to protect our rights and this country they call home and this kind of treatment truly saddens me to no end. My Doctor even approved my medication with the pharmacist but the pharmacist said it was his discretion and he would not fill it. That alone tells me it was only hate motivating him. I so miss rite aid and shake my head at Walgreens buying them out. I will never use this chain again and recommend people follow my example because this is disgraceful behavior. I chose one star only because i had to but they deserve negative stars.
