Ranco Transmission

Rude and incompetent, with disgusting and disrespectful attitude. Their “new transmission “ didn’t last a year, but they couldn’t care less.
Save your time and money, take your business elsewhere.

Ranco did such a sloppy job on my car, I traded it in for a new car.
Thanks to Ranco, I now have new car payments, something I tried to avoid by repairing my PAID FOR vehicle.

Worst service ever! Do not use! Had my transmission replaced with a "good, low-mileage, used transmission." Took them a week to put it in. Got it back and noticed a ticking sound. There is no way they missed this sound on the test drive. Took it back the same afternoon. They broke something in the front drive shaft. Told me stuff like that happens and they were not going to replace it. Finally got them to replace it. Noticed my truck riding rough. Got around to replacing the shocks and noticed there were only 4 of the 5 lug nuts on my passenger side tire. I know it had all 5 when I took it in. Took my truck out today and I was towing a small 6' trailer with a plastic kayak on it and my transmission would not grab in 1st gear. It was making a loud ticking noise made it home safely, but will definitely have them on the phone Monday! Problems so far: did not put flywheel cover on new transmission, broke front driveshaft and tried to pass it off, "good low mileage transmission" didn't last 3 months, can't ever seem to get them on the phone. CROOKS!

Just now noticed they had a website on internet or would have put this rating on sooner. Do NOT recommend them at all!About a year ago got daughter's car transmission repaired here. After about a week got the car back & first time my daughter drove it she pulled into a gas station for gas & the whole left side of the motor fell down on the top of the left front tire making the car come to a complete dead stop & couldn't be moved. If she had been driving on the interstate or down the street (going faster than 10 mph) she would have wrecked and been killed! They towed it in & "fixed" it. We traded in the car shortly thereafter just to be rid of it. If you value you and your family's life do NOT used these people! Would give them a 0 but site won't let me.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, NASTY ATTITUDES AND DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOOK MY CHEVY SUBURBAN IN FOR A SMALL TRANSMISSION LEAK CAME OUT THEY KNOCKED A HOLE IN MY EXHAUST.......... MANAGER SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT GOT IT BACK AND STILL I HAD TO HAVE MY EXHAUST REPAIRED, ALSO MY TRANSMISSION IS BACK LEAKING.... I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH RANCO TRANSMISSION AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
