Pet Planet

Have used Jeff and the gang for many years. Our babies always look (and smell) wonderful after a trip. I do not understand the negative review as I know all of the staff and they are very warm and compassionate and VERY professional. Not only do we use them but so do our parents, siblings and all of our friends and I have never heard a complaint from any of them. The shop is always busy with drop offs and pickups and everyone is greeted with a smile and friendly "shop talk". Most importantly my pets love them! They know all of the staff and run to greet them. I would not hesitate to recommend these folks.

They took very good care of my Yorkie. His hair cut was so cute! They even gave him a bandana when they were done.

I started going to pet planet in 2003 with my first puppy that was not crazy about the whole grooming thing. Other shops had told me not to return that they could'nt handle her but when I was almost ready to give up one of my neighbors told me about pet planet. They told me they would work with her by going slow and suggested i bring Sassy to them in the afternoon insted of the morning when there was'nt as many dos there, they said other dogs may be making her nervous, after the second grooming with them Sassy was starting to tolarate her grooming alot better than ever before.Now shes an old Lady and she loves all of the staff, we we walk in the door she always has to make her rounds around the room wagging her tail at Jeff, Melody, Jennifer and Ashleigh. Now my whole family goes there and have gotten to know all of the staff very well, very pleasant pearsonal people who you can tell truly love animals and people.Over the years I have seen alot of their work and have seen ton of the cuitest trims on alot of pets. They do book up fast though so l always keep a once a month appointment.I highly recommend Pet planet to everybody i know.

DO not take your pets to this place. When I brought my dog in for the first and only time one of the ladies was acting like I was inconviencing her by trying to figure out how I wanted my dogs hair done. She was also showing me pics of dogs that were not even close to the kind of dog I had and said thats how she would look. The other lady was trying to help me out by showing me pics of dogs that at least were the same breed of dog I have. But the first lady was just rushing me out of there. It took 6 hours until she was finished. The haircut was absolutely horrible, she had some bald spots where they shaved too close. I asked them not to touch her ears and they cut some of them off. My sister who is a beautician had to fix the top of her hair because it was all crooked. When I went back to get my dog there was a groomer with her legs propped up on the grooming table watching Oprah and did not offer to come see if I needed assistance. And I assume they do not sweep up the dog hair until the end of the night because it was like a thick carpet of hair when I returned as well. They didnt tell me how she did, which every other groomer has done. They just handed her too me and told me the price. And for the next few days my dog was really clingy to me which is pretty unusual after a visit to the groomers.
