We left our sweet Lab, Clover there over Christmas for 2 whole weeks! Its always hard leaving your pets behind in the care of others but, this time around, we felt really comfortable with "Wind River Tails and Trails". The staff truly cares about animals there and we knew that from the get-go. They had her do a test run where we dropped her off for a few hours one day before the big trip. I thought that was a great idea. They monitored how she interacted with other pups and I honestly think it was great because she could see that we would be back to get her(or we hoped she remembered that!).
They watched to see what dogs they interact best with and then group them together to play. They have HUGE open, fenced in areas to run around in. And I like the added security of the fence within the fence so you don't have to worry about the dogs running out!
If you call while you have your dog kenneled up, they will tell them you did (which i thought was super cute). I was all around impressed with this place.

Provided by DexKnowsOur yellow Lab had never been to dog day care before. We took a chance and tried Wind River Tails & Trails after hearing good reports from friends. Our boy loved the big outdoor yards and his new playmates. The facility was very clean and we were duly impressed by the friendly staff. We are very pleased to have found this facility and will be using it often in the future. We also appreciate the fact that we have found an excellent facility for boarding our dog if we need to leave him.
My young male Labradoodle had issues! Separation anxiety, poor manners, barking and more. His behavior was truly getting out of hand! He spent two weeks in the Board and Train program at Wind River Tails & Trails and did very well. He has had follow up Training and attends Dog Day Care there several times a week. What a difference! He is quickly becoming the dog I always wanted. I can take him anywhere and know he will behave. I can leave him without causing both of us anxiety. Our walks are heavenly. The neighbors have definitely noticed the lack of barking. Thank goodness we found Wind River Tails & Trails when we did!

Provided by DexKnowsMy young Labradoodle, Cowboy, needed lots of help with socialization, trust, manners and separation anxiety. He spent two weeks at Wind River Tails & Trails for their board and train program. What a difference that experience made in him and his relationship with me. He fell in love with Carrie Hunt and her loving, capable staff. He now joyfully attends dog day care there, to play with his new human and canine friends. He and I are also following up with private training at Wind River Tails & Trails. We are having so much fun together, especially now that he knows how he is supposed to behave. Finally, I now have a great place to leave him whenever I need to board him. He is as happy there as he is at home with me...in fact he "sings" all the way from Missoula to the Wind River Tails & Trails facility. The closer we get to "Aunt Carrie's" place, the more excitedly he "sings". This is the only place I will ever board my boy from now on. What we have found at Wind River Tails & Trails is
