Three Y Ltd

This lady is insane!!!!! I took a bridesmaid dress in there to have shortened, that's it. She pinned the bottom and then said when I pick it up it will cost me $70. I was shocked! She brought it down to $65....big discount right? Ha ha. So that night, another bridesmaid said she was having the exact same thing done and her place was only charging $30. So I called 3Y and told her not to alter my dress, that I couldn't justify paying that much when the other place was only charging $30. She got very snippy with me and I asked if she would drop the price. She said no, to come and pick it up and that she wanted me to pay her $20 just for pinning it. I went in to pick it up and she was very rude to me and started roughly pulling pins out of my dress. I nervously asked her what she was doing and she said if I refused to pay her for pinning it she was taking them out. I said "I did not refuse to pay you for pinning it". She then picked up my dress and ran in the back room with it. I followed her and demanded she give me my dress. She was acting crazy and said she wouldn't give it to me and she was going to call the cops on me. I told her to do so because she was acting insane. I told her I would pay something for pinning it, but thought it was rediculous to charge me $20. She would not rationalize or compromise. Her neighbor business guy came over and tried to tell her to give me the dress and she wouldn't. A cop came and even though he thought it was rediculous, said that I had to pay her whatever she asked for before getting my dress back. This was such a crazy and aweful experience. I just don't understand how someone can do business this way. She lost any future business from me and everyone I know. I took my dress to a great place called Polin's. She was wonderful and said she has heard a lot of bad things about 3Y. Polin's only charged me $25. PLEASE BEWARE OF 3Y!!!!!!
