Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

Beautiful spa. All the staff and the manager there are just so pleasant and show to truly care about the clients. Easy to book and my therapist was top notch!

This was a horrible experience. Masseuse did not come to work had no backup person for my appointment. Then I had a facial scheduled but they only have one person who does that and she already had an appointment. Their solution was to just say you can call another Hand and Stone. This place needs to work on customer service you're making appointments and people are walking in because you just sent us a text telling us are to remind us of our appointment and we get there and there's no one to give us the massage. Your lack of caring and for the people in more for the dollar shows.

I usually do not write reviews but I've been a member at hand and stone Fleming Island for well over 3 years. I've had nothing but bad experiences lately from booking my appointments for the wrong day or time or not at all. When I show up for my appointment taking time off of work and they say they don't have me on the schedule or booked it for the wrong day. My time is already very limited and I schedule these appointments according to my schedule. I go monthly for the tension and sore shoulders. I went in for my massage last night and the gentleman that did my massage massaged all around my problem areas after telling him several times where my tension was and still never worked out the problem areas. He was literally just pinching my skin vs. Massaging my muscles. The first time I ever had a massage I couldn't wait for it to be over, it was not at all relaxing. Then this morning I checked my account and come to find out they charge me for deep tissue which I never even received deep tissue. I still have a lot of pain and tension in my shoulders and feel like that was a waste of my time. I've had to rebook an appointment for tomorrow in hopes to get my shoulders feeling better. When I spoke to a manager the only thing they're willing to do is refund the $10 upcharge for the deep tissue that I never even received although the whole experience last night was a waste of my time. I did not receive a good massage and I'm having to go back tomorrow night. I'm having to use another one of my credit from my membership which I honestly feel I should not have to do. This is the last time they waste my time. I will use the last couple credits I have and I will be canceling my membership.
