Olympic Pools

I have been going to the FLANDERS NJ store for the past 2 years for my supplies and I trusted these people. Big Mistake!!! I kid you not. They offer "pool opening". What that entails is $40.00 of chemicals and $210.00 for them to pour it in. They never told me that. I thought they were going to vacuum it out as well for that price so sounded like a good deal. I would never have paid that much money for just some chemicals and 2 guys to come out and pour it in. My cover was already off, we had the pump already running. So they literally just poured in the $40.00 worth of chemicals and put the ladder in. We could have done that ourselves. When I called the owner. He was rude and defensive. He was mad I even questioned it. No business etiquette. Something tells me I'm not the only one he's screwed over. In my opinion, these people are shady and purposely make it sound like they are doing a big job for you when in fact they know what they are doing isn't worth half of what they charge. I will never use these people again. I advise that if you ever see an ad that sounds too good, stay away. It's a ploy to reel you in and steal your hard earned money. Do it yourself for $40 bucks. TOTAL RIP OFF!!! I will definitely close the pool myself. Was gonna use them but HELL NO!

I would strongly suggest you avoid this business as at all costs. They do not stand behind their products. I purchased a two way pool valve from them last year which cracked in less than a month. I then purchased two more of these valves before finally deciding to ask for a refund. Each valve eventually cracked in the same spot from normal use, with the last one being cracked before I even purchased it. Upon asking for a refund, I was "greeted" with by lady who was very rude and abrasive. She made me stand around for twenty minutes before finally telling me the owner decided he wouldn't give us a refund because the valve was left outside in the winter. That was absolutely not the truth, we just purchased it two weeks before in June, but they would have none of it. None the less, we were told the best they could do was give us a discount on yet another defective product. This after spending many thousands of dollars, including the purchase of a pool and supporting equipment at this establishment. I will no longer shop here and STRONGLY suggest you do the same. I will also make sure all of my friends, family and neighbors stay away too. Thanks for nothing!
