E'lan Hair Studio

This hair salon has a feel of welcome when you walk in all the staff are at your every need it was wonderful to be respected as a person instead of a dollar sign.

All the stylist were well educated and caring about my needs and interacted with each other in concern to my hair.

You see I was unsure of getting a keratin treatment on my hair and as I felt comfortable with the stylist that I was placed with my concerns had me in a stale mate.

My stylist was Christopher and he was very confident with proceeding with the service but he felt my concerns and decided to bring in one of the other stylist to help me feel at ease and to get a clearer vision of what are the pluses & negatives of having this service done.

Well Christopher & Lucille who I found out later was the owner made me feel extremely comfortable and took their time to explain & answer any questions that I may have. I was really impressed when they both came to the conclusion that I may need more time and suggested that I take some information home with me and do some research on the product that they use and to think about if this is really a service that I want. I felt relieved but confused if I would have walked into another salon would the situation be different? These stylist & owner turned down a $125.00 service to make me happy & comfortable.

I did get a wash, cut & style for $23.00 that was wonderful there was no pressure about the service & I was asked about 10 times if I would like coffee, tea, cookies, water. There was not any sales pitch for me to buy product Christopher did use some powder on my hair to boost the volume he explained what it was used for and what it was but no pushing me into buying the product.

Well in conclusion to this review about E'lan Hair Studio they are wonderful and as a consumer I would recommend any person to try them you will not be sorry that you did! But as for me I am now a loyal client and I did have the keratin service done I now love my hair it is healthy and I now get many comments on how wonderful it looks & feels!

But most of all I am loving being treated like a special person at this salon!

I would like to tell everyone about this wonderful hair salon. This place is wonderful no stress just a wonderful environment & great people when I first came into the store I was skeptical about what my friends & family were telling me about this store they told me they make you feel like you are at home, offer you coffee & pastry the conversation is always fun. I had to see it for myself because we all know how we are treated when we go to a salon or barber everyone has experienced the rudeness at one time in their life and if the salon or barber was not rude you were dragged into the drama among staff.
I finally decided to check out this place and you know what my friends & family have been saying about E’lan Hair Studio is true it was the most pleasurable experience I have ever had while getting my hair cut. I was asked about 6 or 7 times if I would like a cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water & when they finished getting my coffee (they even made it for me) the person asked me if they could get me something to eat such as cookies & cake. I thought wow this is great but there has to be a catch? I watched and watched every client that walked in had the same treatment and there was no drama the stylist was dedicated to our conversation and I had her full attention when I spoke to her without distractions.
I was impressed with this store and how they treat their clients I watched the receptionist helping the elders in and out of the store like they were related. It was nice to see people who care about our seniors and are willing to help them.
When I went to the check out and when I was told it was $15.00 for a wash & cut I almost fell over how reasonable there prices were. After paying I was thanked by the receptionist, the stylist, and all of the other staff who were not busy with a client.
I have to admit with service like this is hard to find!!!! I think I have found the place I feel comfortable in but now I have to think of a way to tell my family & friends they were right without them telling me I told you so.

I must say that I agree with Margret I have never had a bad experience at E'lan Hair Studio everyone and I mean everyone is always ready & willing to make my day a wonderful one.

I have had my hair cut by 4 different stylist (my choice of course) over the past year coming to this salon and Chris, Jennifer, Sandra & Teri have all knew what I wanted at first I started with Chris and he was unavailable one day and some bald guy suggested to try one of the other stylist well I was scheduled with Jennifer I felt a little funny at first like I was cheating on Chris but I must admit Jennifer was wonderful!!!

I still go to Chris be when he is not available I can't wait to try out one of the other girls. Teri & Sandra were also different but really talented at what they do. Teri gave me a more funkier look as Sandra was a little more conservative but to finish up and tell everyone if you do not try this wonderful group of stylist you are crazy E'lan Hair Studio is the place to be when it comes to your hair!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone, All I have to say is this place is awesome!

The environment is so welcoming and friendly! I really felt like there logo states we really did feel like family! This place is all I am looking for in a hair salon.

Did I mention that the staff are awesome!!! I had my hair cut by this wonderful stylist named Jennifer we talked about my favorite sports team and she knew more then some of my best buddies.

My wife Mary went to a young lady named Teri my wife fell in love with her she really took the time to explain to her how she can achieve healthy hair. Teri really knew what she was talking about my wife's hair looks beautiful.

Thank you Jennifer & Teri for making our visit to your place of business a wonderful one.

I do not know our experience with 3 of the 4 stylist that were there the day we went in were wonderful and were really listened to what my wife, my daughter as well as myself wanted.

We really loved the atmosphere it was clean the staff was extremely helpful and genuine when it came to feeling like they knew us all our life.

We felt at home and comfortable with the whole experience.

Lucille cut my hair and it was one of the best haircuts I had in my entire life. Teri cut and dyed my wife and Angie applied a keratin service on my daughter. They all agreed that coming from NYC this was one of the best services we all had in our lives.

I do not know what happen to the lady before us but we almost lost out on some great hair services because of her.

We are glad we went with our gut instead of Babs review.

Holy crap!!!!! Not happy at all, will never go back. Could have gotten a better cut at Walmart garden center.

Hello, I am Cathy and I would like to share an experience that happened to me recently while visiting E’lan Hair Studio.

I am new to the Flagler County area and was in search of a hair salon. My husband and I have had no luck with the local hair salon or private stylist.

We were just about to accept that Flagler County hair stylist will never add up to our stylist back north my husband is from Philly and I am from NYC.

My story begins with many conversations about the same problem we have been facing while living in Flagler County since January 2014.

My husband and I were driving to the grocery store last week and our conversation turned to the one we have had on many occasions and the question now resurfaced again “What hair salon do we go to? Or what stylist do we use?”

My husband stressed that he did not want to go to hair chain hair salon and wished he could find a local salon where people know you when you walk in a place that he could hang his hat.

Well after this long conversation and about an hour of shopping we pulled out of the Winn-Dixie shopping plaza to see a van placed in the parking lot facing the exit of the Winn-Dixie plaza. Now we have been to Winn-Dixie about 100 times since January and never seen this salon.

My husband pulled into the small shopping center to find the location of the store and told me to google the salon and read up there reviews. At this point he did not care about the groceries we had in the car and what might spoil. We sat there for about 20 minutes reading the reviews.

My husband has heard enough and decided to find out more as soon as he walked in he was greeted by the receptionist he had a warm feeling was asked how can I help you with his full attention my husband asked if they had a price list? The receptionist gave it to him and thanked him for stopping in. we really had to run it is now about 35 minutes our ice cream is melting and had to get home.

The next day we returned to E’lan Hair Salon and my husband stated to me that the same boy was working again and he again greeted my husband and acknowledged and greeted me. He asked us if we would like coffee and some pastry while waiting for a free stylist.

My husband was placed with Teri and I went off with Jennifer for a free consultation and I have to say we found our new home not only was the salon staff pleasant, the store was clean and sanitized. But most of all my husband and I received the best cut and style we have ever received up north.

My only problem is that if we have to visit up north for any length of time who will style my hair while we are there “I wonder if our stylist will travel north with us” probably not!

My closing comment about E’lan Hair Studio is:

“This hair salon is what we have to say is the “BEST HIDDEN DISCOVERY” that Flagler County has to offer their residents.” We recommend that you won’t be sorry!

The atmosphere needs improvement. The stations are messy and dirty. Several employees smoke and stand outside the back door to do so, leaving the door open so as to hear the phone, which is set on high volume. Of course the smoke blows back into the shop. My stylist stood in front of me and removed lots of hair from the brush he was about to use on my hair...it obviously had not been cleaned. I appreciate a relaxing experience when visiting a salon; this is anything but.

I am still amazed that the staff at E'lan Hair Studio they are wonderful with all their clients. We love going to this place!!!! Thank you guys you really care about us!!!!

I have been to many hair salons in my day and this salon has made me feel like there is hope for the human race. You walk in and get treated like a human again. everyone has a great feel about themselves projecting their warmth to the clients. I truly felt like I stepped back in time when people cared about each other and helped in any way they could. My husband & I have been around a long time and the compassion this group of people have for everyone of their clients is over whelming to me. They not only care about how you look but they also care about the way you feel, thank you for giving my husband & I this feeling again. From the owners, to reception, to the stylist everyone in E'lan Hair Studio has a big impact on our community that more stores need to feel for there clients like these people. This salon is everything I was expecting the service was wonderful, the stylist were outstanding my whole experience was like a dream come true.



This salon is exactly what everyone has been saying about them a friendly atmosphere, a glow among the staff, no drama, relaxing environment, with a touch of old school hair salon, one that my mom used to take us to when we were children never a worry about the price because the prices are geared to fit a family budget and what surprised me the most there was no up selling and product pushing.



I grabbed one of the price list and they had the entire stylist listed in it so you know who was who in the salon. I went with my sister and she had a stylist named Teri and my sister was amazed with the consultation she was so professional with her consultation there was nothing left unturned. She was wonderful!



As for myself I did not have a service done that day but I did come back on a Sunday looking for Teri but she was not available that day and the receptionist suggested a young lady named Sandra I knew who she was from the price list. I was greeted as normal and was guided to her station after I sat down Sandra gave me a consultation to know my concerns and her personality was so warm and welcoming her consultation was exactly what I expected we talked about me in a professional manor and my experience with Sandra was one I could never forget. Sandra was so personable we talked while she cut my hair when Sandra was finished she explained to me about the condition of my hair and I will tell you this my hair is dry, brittle and burned from the curling iron, Sandra recommened a conditioning product that was not pushed on me but just suggested Sandra gave me samples of the product she suggested and told me to try it before I bought the product and I did just that.



After a few days I returned to the salon and explained to the receptionist that Sandra suggested this product for me the other day and I tried it and would like to buy the product. Thank you so much Sandra for all your help and my sister and I will see you and Teri soon.

I have never written a review on anyone in my life but after visiting this wonderful hair salon I felt compelled to do this.



My name is Thomas and I visited E'lan Hair Studio and it was the most wonderful experience I have ever encountered.



My stylist was Teri and she just made my day by making me feel so comfortable we talked and talked as she continued with my hair style. I am new to the area and just moved and I was in need of a cut and there she was she made me feel like a new man!



I was really impressed with the other stylist and the owner found the time to stop what he was doing and talk with me to see if I was okay and offered me refreshments he was so professional and made me feel like I was a part of them.



I must say this experience was one I will remember and you can bet I will be back and tell all of my friends and family about this salon.

My two young sons and I were in Florida on vacation and found ourselves needing to go to a funeral. All three of us were in need of a hair cut. I called a few places around where we were staying and E'lan was the only place that said they would make appointments for all three of us work just when we needed it. I had Kristen as my stylist, and she was fantastic. I can't stop looking at my new haircut. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but just that I needed it shorter. She knew exactly what to do. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the people that cut my sons' hair, but I loved what they did as well. My sons are 1 and 3, and cutting their hair is not easy! Everyone was so nice and accommodating, and the price was fantastic. During a very tough time for my family, they were one of the things that made our time a little easier.

The ladies here do a wonderful job!!!! I am always very happy when I leave!!!

I was told by a friend of mine to stop in and see this new hair salon called E'lan Hair Studio, I have to tell you it was one of the most wonderful experiences that I ever encountered! Once I entered the store I was greeted by a man who had very little hair but was extremely friendly he welcomed me to the salon and offered me a cup of coffee, water, pastries & many sweets it was nice when I agreed to have a cup of coffee and he made the coffee for me. I spoke with the receptionist and she was warm, friendly and very helpful with the whole process of checking me in. I told her it was my first time coming to the salon and she placed me with a stylist named Sandra this girl was wonderful the matter of fact all the stylist were so professional with their clients that it made me feel so comfortable to be in this salon. But my guard was up and I wanted to see if it was because I was a new client to this salon I watched the same process with a number of clients that came through the door it was wonderful to know that it was not an act for new clients. I asked Sandra quite a few questions in reference to my hair and she answered them with professionalism and knowledge let me explain my hair is extremely dry and very brittle she explained what she was proposing to do also she told me what products she was going to use to bring my hair back to a healthy condition. The product this salon is using is wonderful it is a Italian product made in Milan, Italy and again I have to say when Sandra was done with my hair it felt wonderful I also looked wonderful with the style she gave me. As a new customer of E'lan Hair Studio you can bet I will be back! Everyone I come in contact with has asked me where I had my hair done.
