Internal Medicine
Is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Ahrens received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. He attended medical school at Wayne State University, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Michigan State University and his Nephrology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Madison. He is the founding member of Madison Area Renal Specialists. As of 2017 Dr. Ahrens is retired and no longer follows patients in the outpatient clinic.
