The short version— after you call and the preliminaries are out of the way… estimate, web design agreement, etc. Life will start to make sense again.



DiamondTech Solutions initiated my domain transfer, had my web hosting account setup, and email ready to go in about two hours or so. Two hours after that they called me, they remoted in to our PCs to setup email on my desktops and then walked me through syncing my Smartphone (by the way, during my estimate talk they asked if I had one, and made sure my hosting account included MS Exchange so I could sync for a couple bucks more). I got an email on my Blackberry around 9:40pm telling me my existing website has been relocated to my hosting account and then all my messages from the old email account started coming in right after. (At this point I am impressed to say the least.) Two days later, I got an email from “my rep” with several logo comps that were smokin’ hot and classy. It took me a week to make my mind up, they were so good. I decided and emailed my rep. The next day (around 1:30pm) I’m eating lunch and reading email – BAM, the business card mockups were in my box and on the money. We selected from the 2 custom designs and UPS delivered them the following week. Now, I am trippin, because 2 hours after UPS drops them off, we get called asking if everything was to my satisfaction with the printing. I gloated how hot the cards were and how the glossy finish makes it look expensive. Then my rep (who by the way is the same guy since the first day I called) asked me to go to my desk, where he remoted-in and pulled up two URLs for me to see mockups of the homepage. The starting points were great. Our website was coming together in front of my eyes. All the meanwhile, I am getting emails from DTS about SEO and search engines. –PEOPLE—I tell you after they had my decision on the homepage and site templates, DTS had me in Google and a bunch of other search engines; which I admit when I looked at the list, was pretty extensive. But, they also setup our Twitter & Facebook page (with $50 in FB advertising credit to play with), and showed me my listing in Yellow Pages & SuperPages. After that I was stuck. ALL WHILE OUR WEBSITE WAS BE BEING CREATED we were able to see tangible things happening and finally feel like we were moving forward.



The point I am trying to make is – luckily, there wasn’t too much damage done because we really didn’t do it right from the start gaining any real exposure. And my associates and I were able to do it again financially. But can you really afford to take a chance or loss?
