Fisher Village Esda

Beware if your considering re-locating to Fisher, Illinois. You will be confronted with a less than adequate police force thus leaving the citizens with no support. This department is headed by a VERY young VERY inexperienced VERY arrogant Police Chief who seems to be more interested in proving he's got power than concentrating on the real issues that face the village ! While there are numerous bully issues, unsupervised children by absentee parents, and not only eye sores of private properties but down right dangerous conditions of some. He's spending his time throwing his weight around on either children or even adults that he THINKS he can intimidate. Recently our Casey's was vandalized and the police chiefs comment was that "His job wasn't to babysit Casey's" Well his job better be keeping an eye on our local business's, and the problems in the area rather than his ego. This community member submits that either this young man needs to be educated on priorities of the office he hold and less on his ego or he needs to be replaced!!!!!

My vote is for the latter. There are many qualified people who would handle this position in a far more professional and beneficial to the village manner!
