This was the most awful service I have ever received. Purchased at Christmas time because we thought it would be enjoyable to do as a family (my mom, grandmother, and myself). Tried to call to set up an appt after purchasing groupon. She only responded back via text and was not able to use until May. Upon arrival to my appt I was accused of being late because i showed up at 4:30. I told her that was the time she told me to be there and she said "No I said 4" and went on to explain how she schedules appt. LUCKILY i still had the text and showed her to prove that she was being rude to me due to her mistake. The service was beyond awful. Was a quick job to get me in and out. The gel nails was not gel nails at all. She painted REGULAR nail polish on the nails and put a top layer of the gel. She sprayed alcohol which sets real gel polish and it literally wiped away with her towel when she checked it. No worries tho, for the crappy service she decided to just paint a layer of regular nail polish on top of the chunkyness she just wiped off and let it dry. My nails did not even last a full day without chipping. I have never left a bad review for anything but since I received such bad service for me and my family I decided to warn others.

I LOVE Kalon Mind & Body Day Spa! The atmosphere is so relaxing. It's a great way to relax, and unwind from a busy day. The owner Kelly is amazing! I would highly recommend this wonderful spa to anyone. A must try! Five stars!

Kelly gives an invigorating massage and tops it off with hot towels. I was treated with the upmost of respect in a friendly and professional manner.

First time visit for service and certainly a place I'd return to in the future. I don't get the negative reviews as I have never gotten anything but polite and prompt treatment from the owner. The smell, sound and lighting are very relaxing and given a little more time spent I'd probably have fallen asleep! This isn't some major chain style establishment but a small and very enjoyable local business which I like to be able to support. Mom doesn't know it yet but she'll be visiting for Mothers Day.

Very bad experience! Wow waited six months for the appt! And then couldn't find the place called and called to see what it was close to and didn't get an answer then finally after several times she calls me back 10 minutes later and tells me she has got to reschule cause I will be 10 minutes late I would have been there 13 minutes late! Bad business! That's because she wouldn't answer the phone! Also the sign is not visible! Very rude! She is not professional! I even said you could take away 10 minutes from my time! Never would recommend to anyone!

Buyers beware! Do not get a Groupon for this business unless you enjoy wasting your time. I've been trying to get in for an appointment for 5 months now, and my appointment has been rescheduled twice, and then finally canceled by text message. When I called recently to see if I can get in, I was given several excuses as to why my appointments were canceled then received a major attitude when I asked if I could get in sooner. She told me to either take the appointment or just get a refund from Groupon. This has to be one of the most aggravating birthday presents I have every received. Again, buyers beware, you'll be waiting months for your appointment, only to have it canceled by text and will receive a major attitude from the business owner. I would stay away from this place!

I had purchased a groupon for this "day spa". This was the RUDEST lady who obviously did not want my business!!!! I couldn't trust her on the phone so I knew I could NOT trust her with my face. I was really excited about getting future services after I used my groupon. Needless to say I called groupon and quickly got a refund. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.

I purchased a Groupon for $79 on May 7th 2013. I called and called and called however the voice mail was always full (its a cell phone #, not even a real business land line). I was unable to leave a message, so I just had to call repeatedly and finally got through about a week later and the lady said she was booked until June 14th, so I scheduled an appointment for that day. Today, 5 days before my appointment she sends a mass text message saying that due to manufacturers error the opening of the business would not be June 10th, but June 20th, and to call after the 20th to reschedule our appointments. What the heck. First, that's TERRIBLE customer service, and extremely unprofessional. I contacted Groupon for a refund, because the business isn't even open, and I am sure if I call after the 20th I wont be able to get an appointment until August or later. Oh and per the website, they are moving to a bigger location and are closed. WTF! Its like they booked all these appointments with people and then decided to move and cancel all the appointments. Good luck getting appointments now that you've pissed off all these people! Oh and to add fuel to my fire, this was my mothers day present from my fiance. Happy Mothers day to me!

When you go into this day spa you would think you were in heaven. The extra care and kindness given by the owner is fantastic. I was just there and can't wait to go back again! I know she has been under a lot of stress with the passing of family members and relocating the business and hiring people to accommodate but things are coming along and with her strong will and fortitude I see this business as a great asset to Fayetteville and surrounding areas!

This is a wonderful place to retreat! The best, most personable spa services around by far. The staff is knowledgeable, prices wonderful, and the atmosphere so serene. I could stay there forever. If your looking for more than a chop shop experience without the outstanding high prices this is a must try place!!

My husband bought me a pedicure and manicure on Groupon for this place. It takes forever to get an appointment. Kelly doesn't call you to make appointments she texts you. She had to cancel my first appointment due to someone passing in her family. I didn't have an issue with that, however, she cancelled on me again because she was having car trouble. REALLY? She texted me to confirm an appointment that she thought I had and I told her that I was considering on cancelling all of my appointments because of the experience I was having with her salon. I guess she got upset because she went on to text "Just go ahead and get a refund. I wouldn't feel comfortable anymore working on you. I don't want either if us to have funny feelings and I do now. Sorry but this business by myself and life happens outside of work still. Sorry again and thank you!" If she were registered with the BBB, I would report her. She is UNDERSTAFFED, RUDE and IN NEED OF SOME BUSINESS ETIQUETTE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND KALON MIND & BODY DAY SPA.

I had the hardest time finding this place so I was late because of the difficulty. I was surprised to find out that it was in the back of the Gold and Diamonds wedding dress shop in the MarketFair shopping center. I was only fifteen mins late and was made to reschedule a month from now. I haven't had the chance to get my mani-pedi set yet. I am not sure how happy I will be with it, with this so far.

I saw a Groupon special and decided to give this place a chance. The place is small but I felt very relaxed and comfortable. The facial was awesome so I booked a mani and pedi. The mani and pedi was nice so I have booked more services to try out different things. Her pricing is affordable and service is great. She has done a lot with growing her business and now I heard she is moving into her own location. I can't wait to see the new location.

I came here to write a wonderful review for this woman and was floored by the last response. Some people these days must think if you dont start as a large business that your not a real business. This girl started this business mobile helping people who weren't able to get out because of disabilities. Her compassion for others is like no other. If you read her website you would see she is a DAY SPA & ive seen many day spas inside other businesses!! She has also just got a new bigger spot of her own shes fixing to relocate to that is not inside another business. Its sad that certain people expect all businesses to start big. She built this from the ground up which is more admirable than one who just takes over one thats already established. Plus she did it on her own with no help. Im not surprised if she was overwhelmed or had to reschedule sometimes. Im sure she had a life outside of her job and gets sick like everyone else. I came here tho just to say how much I felt welcomed at her facility and I never enjoyed a spa day so much! The services provided were excellent and her personality was remarkable and genuine. Can't wait to return and visit her new bigger facility and staff!

This "spa" is a joke. Re.ting a corner of a prom dress store does not make you a spa! Having booked 3 weeks in advance, I called to confirm my appt and was told someone else had that time already and I would have to reschedule another month out. I told her that was unacceptable. She was rude and churlish and told me to get my groupon refunded. Then she schedule me for a 9am appt a week out. I agreed and showed up early to find out the prom shop she rents in does not open till noon. I called and got a full voicemail recording. Later she called my office and said she had a doctors appointment so she didn't come in for my appointment. This young gal's surley attitude, rude treatment of potential clients and irresponsible handling of appointments is enough to warn everyone to avoid this tiny hole in the wall establishment. When someone books a spa experience it should not be a major hassle and certainly should not raise your blood pressure because common curtousies are greatly lacking on the part of the business. There is no business phone. The number is her cell phone and the mailbox is full. The web site is deceiving and not representative of the actual features and ammenities or lack thereof!

I scheduled my an appt and couldn't find the location of the spa. On the website in says located in Marketfair mall. No signs are visible and come to find out it is located in the bridal shop. Rude comments were made about if I would have read the website directions then I would have known. Very unprofessional and not a good way to run a business. Needless to say I cancelled my appt and will never recommend anyone go to Kalon spa.

GREAT SERVICE, PERSONAL, CARING STAFF

This was a WONDERFUL experience for me and my family. I picked up this business card last Tues. from a local eatery close to my fathers. We were never treated with such kindness. To my surprise after a delightful afternoon with a free lunch from here the young lady informed me that she could service my father who was not able to get out his house much. This was done with no travel charge billed to us. The services that were provided well exceeded my expectations which says a lot being a prior salon owner. One of my new FAVORITE places!!! Excellent prices with professional service!
