Please be reassured that, when calling our office, your call will be answered by a person, capable of assisting you with your needs. We understand the anxiety that frequently accompanies the patient that is contacting our clinic, and it is our sincere desire to provide assistance. We will schedule your appointment at the earliest available time, usually within a week's time, unless otherwise requested. You will be asked to bring your x-ray films, ultrasound films, physician referral, and insurance information to your appointment. If you do not bring this necessary information to your visit and we need to contact and obtain reports from other offices you may be delayed.
MRI
Carolyn G. Dudley, MD has over 20 years experience in Breast Imaging. She completed her diagnostic Radiology Residency at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac Michigan. After obtaining Certification by the American Board of Radiology, she attended many Post Graduate level courses in Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Breast Intervention and Breast MRI. She was one of the Pioneers in developing techniques to diagnose Breast Cancer utilizing MRI. She has a private practice that focuses on Women’s Imaging, providing mammography, ultrasound and breast diagnostic procedures. Dr. Dudley is on the Medical Staff of South Fulton Hospital and Columbus Regional Medical Center where she also interprets MRI, Ultrasound, CT, PET and General X-ray. Dr. Dudley has been officially interpreting breast imaging studies for the Breast Health Clinic since 2006.

Accredited by the ACR ( American College of Radiology) We perform screening and diagnostic mammography (mammography for patients with known or presumed breast problems). Mammograms are submitted to CAD (computer advanced detection). All mammograms are reviewed by our professional staff and are officially interpreted by Our certified mammographer.

Mammography
The Breast Health Clinic in Fayetteville, GA has been providing breast cancer mammography and other breast health services since 1994. Our breast mammography clinic is solely dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and management of breast cancer and breast diseases. Cancer prevention and detection is accomplished through the use of digital mammography techniques and numerous other services both within the breast mammogram clinic offices as well as in conjunction with hospital-based treatment. Due to advances in digital mammogram techniques and breast cancer treatments, the fields of breast cancer oncology and surgical oncology have become more complex and specialized.
Chemotherapy
Frequently, at the request of the treating medical oncologist, we are asked to place a long-term access device into the vascular system for the administration of chemotherapy. This procedure is performed as a day surgery in the operating room. Generally, this procedure is performed with local anesthesia aided by monitored sedation administered by the anesthesiologist.

General Surgery
Dr. Auda, the director of the Clinic, is a specialist and innovator in surgical oncology. He founded the first surgical breast clinic in the Atlanta Southern Crescent area. Dr. Auda has been actively involved in cancer research and continues to be a participant and strong advocate of clinical trials. He is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced training as a surgical oncologist at the National Cancer Institute, the leading American center for cancer research. He integrated into his clinical practice the prevailing scientific knowledge of the time, a changing approach to the treatment of cancer, and emphasized that ultimately a cure for cancer, and specifically breast cancer, would depend upon the understanding and targeting of the altered molecular biology of the tumor, rather than the pursuit of more aggressive surgery, which was prevailing at that time. He was the first in this community to perform breast conserving surgery, to adopt sentinel node staging, and to offer accelerated partial breast irradiation. He was also the first to provide advanced biopsy techniques such as ultrasound and stereotactic guided breast biopsy in the office setting. Dr. Auda is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the American Society of Breast Diseases, the American Society of General Surgery and charter member of the Atlanta Surgical Association. He is certified in breast ultrasound and serves on the committees for ultrasound education and certification of surgeons for the American Society of Breast Surgery. His vision is to continue to maximize the efficiency of breast surgery while increasingly minimize its invasiveness. He is very excited about the recently developed scientific methods that can determine specific cancer related genes within the cells of biopsy or surgically excised tumors. This information leads to targeted therapies directed to the tumor cells.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
Our commitment to minimally invasive surgery extends to the treatment of breast cancer. If it is at all possible, we recommend breast conservation surgery. This surgery is performed by using various operating techniques that adequately remove the cancer, but preserve as much breast tissue as possible. Oncoplasty techniques are used when larger portions of the breast require removal.
Vascular Surgery
Dariush Vaziri, M.D., F.A.C.S. joined the Breast Health Clinic in July of 2009 moving from New York State where he previously practiced since 1981. Dr. Vaziri is a Board certified surgeon whose practice is limited to breast surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as the International College of Surgery. He is a member of several national medical organizations including the American Society of Breast Surgeons. He has held a teaching position as clinical Assistant Professor at the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University. Dr. Vaziri originally practiced general and vascular surgery. In mid 1990’s due to the new advancements in diagnosis and management of breast cancer and his personal interest and experience in management of breast conditions, he devoted most of his practice to the care of patients with breast cancer and other breast related conditions. A few years later he limited his practice to only breast care at Riverside Surgery & Breast Care practice in Johnson City, New York. He also served as a surgical consultant at the Breast Care centers of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, the Regional Cancer Center in Binghamton New York and United Health Services, a leading medical center in upstate New York located in Johnson City, New York. He has been very proactive in women’s health issues and in particular in utilization of the new technologies for minimally invasive breast interventions. Dr. Vaziri pioneered breast ultrasound procedures among the surgeons in his community in upstate New York. He was one of the leading surgeons in his community to utilize stereotactic technology to biopsy mammographically detected breast lesions by a minimally invasive approach. He has vast experience in breast ultrasound and stereotactic procedures and is among a select group of surgeons in the country who have been certified for above procedures by the American Society of Breast Surgeons. He has been an active member of this society serving at its breast ultrasound and imaging technology committee for many years. He has also served as a faculty member of this society teaching breast ultrasound and stereotactic procedures to other surgeons at their national conventions and seminars. Dr. Vaziri has also been involved in clinical trials. He was among the first group of surgeons in the country to participate in the clinical trial for accelerated partial breast irradiation using MammoSite Balloon. He was involved in the IPET clinical trial to determine the efficacy of utilization of INTACT biopsy device in removing the breast lesions showing atypical changes without additional surgery. He has been an advocate for early detection of breast cancer with a vision to ultimately being able to prevent development of breast cancer all together.
Reconstructive Surgery

Plastic Surgeons

Breast Reconstruction
We prefer to recommend breast conserving surgery; however, such procedures are not always possible or feasible. In such cases, total mastectomy is necessary. We have, throughout the years, modified our surgical techniques of total mastectomy in order to better improve our results. We work with the plastic surgeons to refine and to improve breast reconstruction techniques. When possible, we adopt a skin sparing mastectomy procedure, which significantly improves the cosmetic outcomes.
Breast Surgery

Lesions
Ultrasound guided percutaneous needle aspirations and tissue core biopsies are routinely performed in the comfort of our office facility. Several diverse biopsy techniques are utilized based on the individual circumstance. The latest vacuum assisted devices allow us to obtain more accurate tissue samples. With these newer techniques, we can completely remove small benign lesions which otherwise would have required an open surgical biopsy in the operating room.
