Fayetteville Animal Shelter

I called this morning to see if they could take my cat since I could no longer have her due to her not getting along with my Siamese kitten. At first the guy told me that I could pay the adoption fee so that way she could be adopted faster which would have been great! Then he calls me back and asks me where I live and said they won't take her since I do not live in Fayetteville. I only live 30 min away! Not sure why that is a problem. I had my boyfriend call them who does live in Fayetteville and asked if they would take her and they said that we might as well pay the $75 to euthanize her! EUTHANIZE HER?! how cruel can you get?!

Its sad how one person (Joni Mosher, aka the "manager") can make such a good experience turn into a nightmare. They told us to pick our dog up in a day, then she called us back and said it was going to have to be next week. I asked why all of the sudden it changed, and she obviously thought I was being rude and tried to make it seem like I was yelling and cursing at her to all of her co-workers. I asked two more times and she hung up on me without answering anything. I was forced to return to the store, and I just knew she was going to make me out to be crazy. So I go into the store, (and ya, I got you being rude on video too) she tries to say that I yelled at her and all sorts of stuff. Then the director says she doesnt even know if Im responsible enough to have a dog, even though in my combat tour in Iraq I was in charge of multi-million dollar vehicles. Anyways, long story short, the director was okay, but the manager: VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, would recommend putting your staff through some training, because they are just plain rude.
