The room was nice & clean. However, check out is at 11:00, and we were still getting ready at that time. The maid knocks on the door, my fiance is standing right by the door, not dressed yet, telling her that she wasn't dressed, and that we were going to a funeral. The maid, still tries to push the door open, while my fiance is trying to push it closed. I was in the shower, with the door open, so I got to hear everything. But, the maid, tried her best, to get into the room, yelling "Its passed 11:00". I had even asked the night manager for a late checkout. This is just unacceptable. So, we called the front desk, and no answer. About 20 minutes later, the front desk calls our room. She says I owe her $20 for a late checkout. At this point, it was 11:45. So, the lady says; 11:30 is ok, but afterwards its a $20 fee. So, as we are leaving, there's nobody at the front desk, go figure. This is unacceptable customer service. I won't ever stay in a Super 8 ever again.
This dump is full of spiders, dust, mildew, & owners that don't put a priority on bathing! I'm serious! The health dept. should have shut this dump down years ago! One of their housekeepers had a staff infection and the manager permitted her to work. Don't waste your $$$ on this trashy dump. Go anywhere but here!
Great room for the price. Very friendly staff. Breakfasts aren't the best, but hey, it's the typical free breakfast offered at 90% of other hotels.
