Excellacare Home Health Care

My Mom was discharged from a rehab facility on Friday. A hour after discharge my sister who lives with her burned her hand badly. I cannot praise this company enough for their exceptional response to my crisis call for help for my Mom. They had a aide there the next morning, Shawn was extremely comforting to my Mother and helped her every step of the way combat her anxiety at being moved from her bed to wheelchair. She was in rehab due to her former home health aides taking her down the ramp forward, her falling out of the wheelchair and fracturing her femur. Needless to say we aren't using that home health agency! They have been so conscientious and professional every step of the way, I would highly recommend them to care for your loved one.

You're not getting a raise no matter what they tell you, You NOT GETTING A RAISE. No overtime, unless it's when they call and where they want to send you and that maybe 20-30 mile, no pay for mileage, no benefits, no respect and they are very unprofessional. They get you in there and sell you a lot of b.s just to make them money and I do mean, you make them money LOTS of money, but you will only get paid $9.00 hourly despite what they tell you and how long you've worked for them 1 year, 2 years, three years or even four, you will still be making $9.00 hourly. They can't keep any one to work for them because they're unprofessional, liars, you don't get paid on time and if you and when you ask about it they blame it on your bank, which is so very untrue, it's them. Care Plans are out dated. They don't show you any appreciation for your hard work, time and or gas for running and working for them. The owner and them people they have working inside that office is very disrespectful and will lie and say what you have to do, and you don't even have to do it. They make up they're policy and will change it on you in a second. I had to get out of that place and go make some real money and work for a company that pays way more money, has benefits and they very much so appreciates all they're employees and gives us gifts for holidays and for our birthdays. We have company functions to bring us all together to get to know one another as a TEAM. This company Excellacare does not care about you, as long as you working for them making they're pockets fat they're fine. With this company you still making minimum wages after taxes and gas to get to and from they places they want you to go too. They have no corporate office so please don't believe anything these people say. This company will not be in business long because I will do everything in my power to let the world know how bad this company is and how they treat you, they will brush up on all the unprofessional things they are doing wrong and when they give they're employees a raise. BEWARE BEWARE! Please BEWARE

I can't agree more! I chose Excellacare sight unseen for my mom's therapy after her stay at a nursing home. The nurses and therapists were outstanding...always timely and professional. Also, very caring and courteous. Treated my mother like gold! I can't imagine using any other company but them.

Excellacare was there when I needed them! There staff were kind,courteous and compationate. My family and I would recommend them without hesitation! There nurses and therapists were professional and helped my mother recover. There aides made her day to day recovery much easier on her and us!
