Action Testing Services

Just avoid her. She is looking ONLY after her own pocket. Failing you for nonsense reasons. She makes you come back as more time as possible.

I see a LOT of unhappy reviews on Action Testing Services, an I'd like to explain my experience.. The instructor Judy Purcell is the sole owner of Action Testing and she has nobody to help her. I like this style of "old school" style service. She was VERY friendly and professional throughout our experience. People are bashing her because she failed them or their kid(s) for one reason, because she does things BY the book. My older son went to a place a few years ago in Southfield and I felt like the guy was barely paying attention to what my precious teenager was doing. Almost like "he paid' so he'll pass". As a loving parent, I'd much rather my teenager get a lesson of failing and be a safer driver, than pass and be overly cocky and get permanently injured. With all that being said, Judy is doing you, your family and the other drivers on the road a service on being TOUGH on you. She should be praised for her professionalism and for not being overly emotional. Rude and insensitive she is NOT, professional and safe, she is. Ignore ALL of the ignorant reviews about her. Make sure your kid is properly prepared and you'll do fine here. If NOT, go somewhere else for that GUARANTEED PASS and watch your insurance rate go through the roof after your first immediate vehicle accident. That's my 2 cents!

Judy is not at all professional. I took test twice with her, she is so arrogant and rude and she made me feel very nervous. She terminated the test both times saying silly reasons. Third time I went to another driving test center at Southfield and believe it or not, I passed. Problem was with the money making attitude of Judy Purcell and not with my driving. NEVER TAKE A CHANCE WITH THIS RUDE LADY, JUDY, UNLESS YOU LOVE TAKING DRIVING TESTS .

I totally agree with all the other reviews: she was late, unprofessionnal and unfair! After wasting my time and money with her, I turned towards A K services driver testing (in farmington hills too) and the difference was outstanding!

The examiner, Jeanne Price, was on time, everything was ready for the parking test, she was kind, professionnal and made me feel very comfortable, contrary to the awful Judy!!

Strange that I failed with Judy and passed with Jeanne.. Now you're warned!!

Not a single star if yp allowed it indeed!

She was late at our appointment, she did not give me clear instructions: for example she does not tell you that when you park, the back of the car must be at least 2 or 3 feet from the line (my car was well parked but too far from the line!) so I failed for the "parking test", as a result, there was no need to go on driving.. I don't know if all the instructors do the same way but when reading the comments about her (comments I should have read before) I really wonder if she didn't do it on purpose because she may have been in a hurry to go back home or whatever...

My son use Judy the same thing she was 45 minutes to an hour late and she'd make him correct parking and you're not supposed to .so he will fail . So she can give him a point away. she had two other people waiting so she failed him automatically so she didn't have to go out for the road test.

anybody who has been with this women and had a horrible test drive should report her to the better business bureau like i did

Judy is extremely unprofessional. She charged my credit card for a road test she never provided. I called and canceled six hours after I made the appointment and gave her more than 30 hours notice. Judy is fraudulent and runs a horrible business

Do not use this person Judy. She is rude and unprofessional. She talked down to my son the entire ride then gave me a lecture about him speeding. He did 27 in a 25 zone. She may be mentally unstable. I had a feeling from the time I first spoke to her on the phone that there was something wrong with her. I wish I had followed my gut feeling. PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD STAY AWAY!

Never use this woman. She was very rude. Like others she was late for my appointment 30 minutes in my case. I wanted to cancel after that but she said she would keep my money so we went through with it. She obviously lacks interpersonal communication skills.

She did not provide clear instructions and when asked questions regarding the test she stated, "Don't interrupt me" , but following the test when told about questions that the tester had said, " Well you if you had questions you should have asked", This was easily the worst experience I have witnessed or been apart of for any type of independent testing company. I use the term company very loosely as she is obviously the owner/operator. If you don't want to waste your money or see your child cry.... Don't use her!!!!!!!!

She would get 0 Stars if YP allowed it!!!! That's how bad it was!!!

Please I am telling u guys, never ever take your test with this lady called JUDY... she is awful.. She took my money without conducting test. She is really very bad.. Please donot call this lady anymore...

I have used this twice and I feel like a idiot for doing so, however I encourage others to find someone else. The lady that tested my Judy had no personal skills what so ever. She late to her appointments and she barely had time to test me. She also schedules her spots closely together so in the meantime while your are testing you seem very rushed. She does not let anyone in the car with you to verify what happened. This lady was extremely rude to me and my mother. I would not recommend it to anyone!!!!!.

Examiner's attitude was awful and so rude. She sometimes shouted during the test. If someone plans to take the test at here, I recommend you to choose another place.
