When we went there it was set up in the most non-traditional way. We all sat in groups so it was easy to socialize we each other. The hibachi chef cooked in front of us on a flat cooking surface that is level with us so we could see everything that was done to our food. The food was excellent and done in an entertaining way too.

We have been back here 3 different times since they opened. We have always chosen the Hibachi side and it is GREAT!!! The cooks are absolutely hilarious and entertaining. And the food is DELICIOUS!! This was our 5 year old daughters first experience at a restaurant like this and she was amazed by the chefs and always wants to go back. Keep up the good food, service & atmosphere!!!!

I've been to this place countless times and it's been great everytime. My family usually sits on the habachi side, but the dine in side is a nice change every once in a while when we are in the mood for some good sushi. You may think they are your typical japanesse resturant, but be prepared to be shocked. I've had most of the things on the menu and they are all really good. The scallops melt in your mouth, steaks are like butter, and the fried rice is my favorite, I always get double, no veggies. I tell all my friends to go, and so therefore I will tell you the same, GO!! Everything is well worth it. It's a nice casual place to dine, perfect for any occasion. The celebration they have is great for birthdays! and you even get a keepsake picture! Plus there are always coupons in the paper!
We went on Valentine's Day and it was very busy, we waited a while but the staff was great trying to get everyone what they needed as fast as they could with smiles on their faces. Even the customers that were yelling at the hostesses left with smiles and said a big goodbyes waving. I could tell it was worth the wait.
Now to those of you who have not been to a place like this, be prepared. I've noticed that things move a bit slower with larger parties. Our server was very pleasant (also had a great sense of humor) and explain things to us, so I'll explain them to you. Everyone has to be there to be seated so the grill can be turned on, grills need to heat up, soups, salads, apps, and sushi must go out, then the server can then send the order, after that the chef has to prepare the food and then comes out to your table to cook. It is a teamwork atmosphere here.
And to those who have been to a place like this or here before, I've read the reviews and it seems like only the negitive experiences have been talked about, and this is why I'm writing so much. You never know why things happen, so give them a break! Everyone should see for themselves!!!

Our experience at this restaurant was not what you would call good. I must say, the food was good but the service was terrible. The manager working at the time was terrible. We dined on May 17th and had a party of 14. We waited for at least 45 minutes for our checks to get straightened out after receiving our bill with someone elses credit card that was not even seated at our table. We will not be going back. If you ask for chop sticks don't expect them to bring them. If you don't have dressing on your salad, expect to ask at least three times for the waitress to remember to bring it to you. Want a beer...you might as well walk up to the bar and wait for 15 minutes for a bartender to show up, but that will be faster then waiting to get it from your waitress. If you go... good luck and hopefully your experience will be better than ours. I usually don't complain and this is the first negative review I have ever written about a restaurant.

I can't believe this place is still open. Me and a friend went to try it out. Our waitress sucked ! He only came to our table after we had to flag him down. I noticed a little bit of discrimination too. I visit sushi restaurants all the time so I knew exactly what I wanted. The sushi rolls were disgusting. I ordered an appetizer and it was disgusting too. I complained to the manager and he told me there was nothing he could do and that I had to pay anyway. I told him I wasn't paying for something that almost made me throw up. He told me to pay and get out. After making him see I wasn't paying no matter what, he called another manager over who also told me I had to pay. After arguing for 30 minutes I picked up my stuff and began to walk out. The waitress had the nerve to ask me for a tip. I'm like are you serious. The manager told me to get my stuff and go. The managers, waitress and hostess were very rude. I warn everyone of this place. Sakura and Saki are 10 times better....

Worst restaraunt experience of my life. We went for a friends birthday, had a 6 o clock dinner resrvation and were finally seated at 8:15 after being told twice they were getting our table ready. The manager was bartending and we waited 15 minutes at the bar every time we needed a drink while we waited for our table. One hostess told our friend if she didn't want to wait anymore she could leave!!!! After our friend complained the hostess walked off the job. On top of this the fire alarm went off 3 different times, once for 25 minutes, and the other two times it was around 10 minutes! It was so loud almost everyone went outside to escape it! When we finally were sat it took 15 minutes just to get our drinks ordered and while we socialized and continued waiting (there were 13 of us) one of the cooks at the next table yelled 3 times at us to shut up! Sadly when the cook finally arrived at our table, he was the same one who had been throwing food at us and yelling at us to shut up... during the entire dinner he made innapropriate remarks to one of the women at our table. The entire night was a disaster and finally ended at 10:30 with everyone paying their bills (full price) and leaving unhappy. Never again will any of us EVER return to this restaraunt.
