The Fire Division is managed by the Fairmont Department of Public Safety, which is governed by the Town of Fairmont in North Carolina. The division is responsible for protecting more than 3,000 people and properties. It maintains operations in over 2 square miles. The division offers fire suppression services and prevention awareness training sessions to youth and adults. The Fire Division employs a staff of nearly 20 people. The division also provides emergency preparedness programs. In addition, it manages fire suppression and prevention units. The department has a staff of approximately 45 people. It manages support services and police divisions.
