Burr Elementary School offers classes to students in grades kindergarten through five, and serves more than 450 students. The school s detailed curriculum includes reading, writing, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, music and physical education. It provides special education programs and extracurricular activities to students with disabilities. Burr Elementary School has offers spelling, recitation, reading, arts and music clubs to students. The school s library houses a wide collection of fiction, nonfiction books, CDs and DVDs and games. In addition, the school provides summer preschool and after school, language reading and mathematics programs to general and disabled students. It has a parent-teacher association that assists in various school activities.
