Worst gym!
You could not pick a worse gym to become a member of. It is absolutely filthy. The hours say 24/7, but that is completely false. They are not open even past 6 on Sunday.
The worst part about this gym is the contract that you are required to sign. They wil not let you out of the contract unless you move out of the area. I am moving out of the area, but they will not let me out of the contract without three things. They require a drivers license with a new address, your first months bill, and your new lease agreement. I am surprised they did not want my first born child named after them as well. If you do want to join at least get a free pass for a month to make sure you like it before you sign your life away.

This gym is horrible. When I signed up I was told that I would be able to cancel my contract whenever by paying my fee and maybe the next months payment. But when I called to cancel....they said I had to buy out 80% of my contract that was left...which is 2 more years. that's $642. They neglected to tell me this, and I really cannot afford to pay for such a horrible gym. Its filthy, and disgusting, and not worth the time or money.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My roommate and I signed up the first of the year, then after our student fees from school went through and after attending this awful facility for one workout, we determined that we no longer wished to continue the membership. We went in to cancel two days later (the contract gives you three days to cancel and receive a full refund), and the man who signed us up, Barry was his name, informed us that the paperwork would have to go through the corporate office and we would be receiving our refund of the activation fee within 7-10 business days. We never received our refund, even after several phone calls to the gym, and at the beginning of the next month, we were charged again. We went in and were informed that Barry never sent our paperwork through and we were still, in fact, members. After several more phone calls to corporate office, we were informed that because Barry neglected to do his job and submit our paperwork, thus them never receiving it, they would not refund us our money.

Premier Fitness is shady, hardly legitimate organization who took advantage of me and my roommate and swindled us out of our $140, which is a substantial amount of money for us as college students.



Now, onto the actual gym itself. It's filthy. The one day my roommate and I went to work out there, there were only two paper towel dispensers in the entire gym, which were just paper towel rolls sitting on stools, and not a trash can in sight. The locker rooms are moldy, visibly dirty, and unclean, the tanning beds did not work, the weight equipment is extremely outdated, the staff is not friendly and not helpful, etc. Also, upon our enrollment, Barry told us that the gym provides complimentary personal training (which is the main reason I even chose to sign up in the first place), and we set up a time the next day (which is the only day we went to work out) for him to provide us with our first session. He never showed. The gym itself has a horrible atmosphere with an incompetent staff and for the amount you pay, you're MUCH better off going to L.A. Fitness. An additional $10 a month for no activation fee, no contract, a friendlier staff, and a MUCH nicer facility. I would say it's worth it.
