Just simply the best. I've been using Sherwood for years, their arrangements are beyond expectations. My mother is having a little trouble with her memory, but every time she sees her arrangement she is reminded that it's her birthday and that her son loves her very much. The flowers are fresh and stay that way for many days beyond what might be expected. I will never go anywhere else when looking for flowers in the Sacramento area.

Sherwood florist, (Les), made the most incredible floral arrangement for my mother-in-law's memorial service. It was the perfect size, scale and exactly met my request. It was delivered on time and set-up beautifully. I didn't have to do a thing! He asked general parameters and budget and put it all together. I would definitely recommend them. Les did mention he was the expert at funerals. I would have to agree. Thanks Sherwood florist.

My family and I have been using Sherwood Florist for our special occasions for years. The arrangements are always beautiful and the flowers are top quality. Les and Glenda really care about their customers and go out of their way to accommodate your needs and special requests. Recently I ordered an arrangement for my Mother's 80th birthday. They were kind enough to deliver the flowers outside of their delivery schedule so my Mother would receive them in person. Not only did my mother love the flowers, all her friends were commenting on how fresh, fragrant and gorgeous the flowers were. Les made sure the arrangement was extra special for my Mother's celebration. Sherwood Florist has always been our trusted florist and always will be because they always deliver as promised and you can count on them to provide a quality product.

My company needed to order flowers for a funeral that was being held at 2 p.m. on a particular day. I wasn't told until a couple hours before that time and thought I would be out of luck getting flowers delivered. However, that was not the case. When contacting Sherwood Florist I told them my issue. They were so helpful and delivered flowers within an hour. I will definetely do business with them again and would recommend them to anyone.

I called Sherwood from overseas and asked for extra quick delivery so that flowers would be waiting when my friend returned home from hospital. It was really an unreasonable request on such short notice and I didn't think they would manage it. Sherwood gave no promises -- but in fact they did exactly as I had hoped. Since then, I've used them twice more -- with more advance notice -- and the flowers have been richly praised by the recipients. Now I know where to call in future.

I called Sherwood Florist in the morning to see if they could do same day dilivery to the local area, I was told that the person who put the arrangements together would not be in until around 11:00am, I left my phone number for someone to call me back to get my questions answered, In the meantime I continued to search the yellow pages and went with a florist who was available at the time. At around 11:00, I receved a phone call from a gentleman at Sherwood florist. I told the person I had went with another florist and he than proceeded to tell me that was rude and hung the phone up in my face. This was my first and I must say last experience with this florist.

Couldn't be with my Mother for Christmas this year, so I sent her a Sherwood Florist arrangment. Mom says it's the next best thing! She was so pleased with the freshness of the flowers and the beautiful holiday vase.

Upon the death of our Mother, my sister and I had just left the funeral home where they showed us flower arrangements that seemed extremely over priced so we decided to explore local florists as we were from out of town and unfamiliar with any local ones in Sacramento.



We were going to do this job the next day bur late in the day we drove by Sherwood florist which we decided to stop by and check it out. Their book was typical but the prices were very reasonable and with the wonderful help of Les who helped us choose a lovely color coordinated arrangement to match the color of coffin we had with us. When we thought one particular flower combo would work well, less kinda made facial expressions to suggest something else would be better. He was right on. We loved his passion and knowledge and patient advise. We also found him to be funny and such a pleasure to do business with.



We finally made our decision which was a lovely topping for the casket. Les said, leave it to me and I will do you proud and your mother proud too.



At the funeral home, where we first saw the arrangement, we were so pleased with this classy and BEAUTUFUL BIG flowing with cascading roses on top of a bed of other flowers, JUST AMAZING!



We have many relatives in that area and we are telling all of them about Sherwood Florist.

I am extremely happy with the arrangement made by Sherwood florist. It far exceeded my expectations. The arrangement was much more than I expected for the money I spent. The service was excellent and the delivery was prompt. I will be using Sherwood Florist exclusively in the future.

I purchased a dozen roses with "I Love You" on them and gave them to my wife. This was a cheaper gift than the boat i bought her last year. I could have saved my self some money.

My cousin ordered a small bouquet that looked decent from another town for my elderly mother. She left it on her dining table and later that night I noticed a huge leak on her table cloth. The next day I called the florist and explained the problem. He was rude, obnoxious and uncooperative. He told me that this is his Sunday and he doesnot wish to have it spoiled by this complaint and also he has been in this business for fourty years and this is the first time that he has heard of such complaint! To top it all he said: "the person who sent it to you from another town wanted this container and if I change it I have to charge them!!". I was totally shocked by his behavior and non-chalant attitude. He also expected me to just bring it in on Monday, after the fact that I told him I work and he proceeded to tell me that he will be walking over from Madison to my home to pick it up, with car is 35 minutes away. I have ordered flowers for my loved ones on numerous occasions,but this was a bizarre experience from this florist. So people be aware and avoid this shop, you will get no service! By the way the person who talked to me introduced himself as the owner, called Les.

At this busy Christmas season I called long distance to ask for a local delivery pronto.

The very nice lady helped me understand I was calling the wrong area to have a gift

delivered where I requested, then proceeded to look up florists closer to my target

neighborhood! She gave me the phone number of a florist there.

If you are not sure of what kind of arrangement or live plant or an unusual gift this is the place to come. A friendly, caring and professional environment for you to come to. They know their flowers and make the most beautiful arrangements around. Don't hesitate in dropping by just for a visit. You will come back wanting. Les and Glenda are perfectionits and have the passion for the right flower for you what ever the occasion.

After for years doing bussiness with others, some bad experiences, had a florist send an arrangement to a morchuary, when i got there the next day i could not find it on display anywhere. When back to florist and the said they couldn't do anything. They have a 3 party pick up arrangements after that they said it was their fault, they didn't even verify the delivery. Now that was the worst of the disapointments. Enought to hunt the next time for a dependable bussiness.

I found Sherwood Florist, i have used them now for several years and i am totally a happy florwer buyer now. When i can't make up my mind they help, if i can't go to shop i call and tell them what for and they no my taste and sent an apporpriate arrangement, since doing bussiness for so long (or mabe they do it for anyone) they always add a little extra and their own touch. They are great I hope you'll give them a try
