        We are a private faith based Preschool for 3 and 4 year old children nurturing both spiritual and educational needs of our “Bright Ones”. We are associated with the Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church and are students of the Marva Collins’ methodology. We believe, as she did, that “Every child is a born achiever.” Joshua Academy’s mission is to provide a nurturing learning environment that allows children to uniquely develop into well-rounded individuals who can reach their fullest potential. Joshua Academy serves children through a curriculum that is conducive to all learning styles. Joshua Academy strives to provide a high-quality educational experience similar to that of private schools to children who would otherwise not be able to afford such an experience. Joshua Academy’s vision is to be a holistic, faith-based, educational program, which prepares students to become responsible, caring and self–sufficient members of their community.

        The only reason I am giving them 4 stars and not 5 is because they do not provide school lunch, which is a pain to pack a lunch every day for a picky child who only eats lunchables and sandwiches. Other than that, this preschool is absolutely outstanding. My child has gone here since she was 2 years old and I have literally watched her blossom into such a smart, respectful, and loving child. Her mannerisms are better and she loves going here. My child just turned five, about to head to kindergarten this year and already knows how to read and write. I am so grateful for this school and how hard they push my child because that is what she needs. Plus their school plays are amazingggggg. I wouldn't have sent her anywhere else, they go above and beyond to make your child love themselves and respect others. I highly recommend this preschool!!
