Samaritan Le Ray Urgent Care

I had a tick in my thigh. The PA put alcohol on it, and she used no local anesthetic. She said she always ends up leaving a piece behind when she removes them like she did. It took her a while, and she was having trouble grabbing the leftover piece. She then tried needles, and the first was too small to remove the tick so she used a bigger needle. She was able to get what she told me was the last tick piece, a small dot on the end of the needle. I noticed my skin still looked black and felt hard and warm. I had a previously scheduled appt with my family doctor, and he said it should not look black at all. She should've realized that because it was still black in the center, that means there is some kind of foreign debris there. My dr. removed it along with a piece of skin under local anesthesia, and he is sending it away to be tested. He suspects it will come back as a tick mandible. I have kids to live for, and I do not appreciate that she left a piece of tick in my leg.

Slowest fckn urgent care I've ever been to!!!! Came in at 539 and wasn't see until almost 8! Completely ridiculous. If I wanted to wait this long I would've went to the emergency room!!!

Waiting is the name of the game for all medical centers.. Most likely if someone is rude, they will be rude back.. i liked the place.. Docs were awesome, intelligent, patient and listened carefully ..waited yes... but like i said.. where else can you go.. Office manager needs to smile more... but what the hey.

Brought my children in to be seen, sat in waiting room for approximately 45 minutes, seen other person who came in after us (who appeared just fine) go in before my kids. I went up to the desk and the lady was extremely rude and stated that the doctor dictates who he sees first. This was my second negative experience with this place. I do not recommend it unless you have all day to wait and like dealing with rude staff.

Absolutely horrible. Staff was soooo rude and the doctor/ office manager, what ever he was backed them up. Will never go here again

Kaleb is great! We seem to come here more than our primary. My kids love him. He is very complete and never in a rush with you!

It was horrible. I went in bc I had horrible back pain. Could barely breath or move. Went in at 9am when they opened and a half an hour later was finally called back. Wasn't seen by a doc until almost 10am. When he came in he pushed on my lower back very hard which made it worse. Did not offer anything for the pain. Said he wanted to do an X-ray. Okay, 17 mins later they take me for an X-ray. Still in pain they laid me on a hard surface and had me role around for the pictures. No big deal, nurse said it would take 10 to 15 mins tops for the results. Doc didn't come back in till 11. I was hurting so much I had to ask for something to stop the pain. He gave me a shot of toradol which did nothing. I had to wait till I got home to take the muscle relaxers that he proscribed. And even them they have barely worked and have given me the worst stomach pain. I thought urgent care meant urgent. I didn't get out of there till 11:23am still in pain and not in even worse pain. I will never go there, next time I'll just go straight to the emergency room!
