        This place USED to be our preference hotel, simply because it was clean, the rates were decent, the staff was polite and personable.NONE of that is what the same.The rooms have deterurated, we have the oldest TV set that barely works.The ac barely works.The toilet seat is not only the wrong size, it is also busted off on one side, the rooms stink as well.Used to have a coffee pot and microwave in each room but not anymore.The rates have gone up, the staff have zero personality and are not personable.We booked for an entire week, and invited my sister to come visit us and swim, since it was hot and we hadn't seen them in a while.We were immediately told she was not allowed here unless she got a room.Have stayed here probably 2 dozen times in the last few years, this is now the worst accommodations I have seen and NEVER again will we support this hotel. There is a hotel next door much bether place. would have given it minus stars if there was an option. Worst hotel of the year!!

        horrible service, dirty room

        I will NEVER stay here again! Nor will I ever recommend this hotel to anyone. The very first thing we noticed was our air conditioner was out & making a weird noise. I went to tell the front desk girl and all she advised me to do was unplug it for 5 minutes & then plug it in again & "see if that works." When it didn't she simply gave us a fan to use. I had a small baby with me & it was very hot in that room. Uncomfortably hot. We tried opening the window and that didn't make it any better. Never once did a service person get called out. Then, I put my son on the floor to crawl around after a 10 hour drive from Texas & within minutes his knees, hands & tops of his feet were sticky & black! It was disgusting. So, not only did we have a hot room but we had a filthy one, too. When, I went down & asked for a discount for the night because of the problems the girl said they could definately move us in the morning but I would have to wait to request a discount in the morning when I could speak to the owner. Well, the morning comes & we waited around until about 10 am but NOONE came to address our issues. We went about our day but still didn't get a call until roughly 8pm! And it wasnt the manager or owner of the hotel it was a kid. One of the owners kids! Really?! They didnt even have the common courtesy to call us themselves or, better yet, speak with us in person. Then the kid says "My mom said..." they would not discount the room for us & we could move to another room but it would be a suite and we would have to pay $30 more. This was the worst customer service I've experience in my life. Do yourself a favor & spend just a little more for a more decent place to stay.
