Bay Arenac ISD offers a variety of special programs and services to children suffering from various physical disabilities and mental health disorders. It is one of the programs provided by the Bay-Arenac Intermediate School District, located in Bay City, Mich. Its special education program is provided in local school districts and in the district s special education centers to students at the preschool, elementary, middle school, high school and postsecondary levels. Bay-Arenac Intermediate School District has a staff of special education administrators, teachers, related service providers and paraprofessionals. It addresses the physical, emotional and social developmental needs of children. The district also provides physical, occupational and speech therapies, and psychiatric evaluation and assessment, cognitive skills development, and individual and group counseling services.
