After the unfortunate passing of our original lawyer (Warren Rowe), based on highly regarded recommendations from friends and family members, we contacted Mr. Young and asked him to represent us in a legal matter. His knowledge, wisdom and common sense approach to very complicated issues were a relief to me and my family and continues. I retired from the US Army with 30 years active federal service and have lived in the Wire Grass area for many years. Mr. Paul Young will be my choice for legal representation every time.

Great attorney who knows the law and knows how to do his job. Had to go to court and got very good advise from my attorney. He will fight for his client but he will also tell you what you need to know.

Terrible, disappointing experience. I was in Afghanistan and needed an attorney to address a child support issue with my ex-wife. Mr Young happily took the $1,500 retainer he demanded, and then proceeded to NEVER answer my calls (regardless of how difficult it was to call from Afghanistan) or to EVER answer my emails (which also weren't easy to do from Afghanistan). I therefore showed up to court during my two weeks of R&R from Afghanistan, and 10 minutes after the scheduled start time, Mr Young nonchalantly walks in, asks the judge if he can have a few moments with his client, to which the judge replied "I would suggest you do," and we THEN have our first ever person-to-person contact of any form (Mind you: this was the day of the trial, and he shows up late!!!!!). We then go into a small adjoining room, where he proceeds to tell me that I'm screwed (upon what he based that "insightful" conclusion I never knew), and after much yelling (on my part, out of frustration at the utter lack of care or concern for a client, yet complete willingness to take ...and keep my retainer for services NOT rendered), all he manages to accomplish is to arrange an agreement with me and my ex for "reduced" child support, but portends that he has done me a big favor. THANKS for nothing, because that's absolutely what I was provided by this attorney. After I returned to Afghanistan to finish my tour there, I wrote an email to his secretary (who is most likely the only mammalian being in this office that you also will ever be able to communicate with) and demanded my retainer back, since I could have "defended" myself in court better than he did. BIG SURPRISE: no answer and therefore no refund of my retainer. I highly, HIGHLY recommend you find better legal representation than this, particularly if you are a member of the Armed Forces. You will not be satisfied.
