This store was probably the worst and the dirtiest store I've been to. While we were trying to look around and my family and I were talking jim would interrupt and tell us how great his business was. He then took us to where he makes the furniture. (We didn't want to go) he never gave us a choice. That building was so dirty I would never have bought any furniture there. We saw the furniture being made where they used plywood and not hardwood, as well as a lot of staples and not screws. This is not what I see to be good quality furniture. After about an hour we were able to get away from him and his assistant talking and left. I would never buy anything from him he seems like a fraud and tries to justify it.

Very poor quality, and service! Living room set was coming apart in less than a month! Broken frame boards, loose seams, and stitching. Recliner arm had stitching coming undone on day 1! Miller refused to send a seamstress out to repair the hole. Literally called within an hour of delivery to report the hole. Insisted on a huge delivery fee to pick up, and return to me, and no indication of when it would be done!

Believe the poor reviews of this company, and do yourself a favor, and buy anywhere else! Owner is as rude, and shifty, as the reviews have stated. Once you buy, you are on your own.... even when the furniture arrives damaged...

Horrible experience. Embarrassed to have this 'quality' furniture in my home....

Shame on you Jim Miller!

We went to the store for miller to look us in the eye and tell the truth.....well he handed us off while he sat down. We picked out 2 recliners and a couch. To get matching material we had to wait 2 weeks which turned out to be 6 because they sold the couch and had to re-order. When it came and they delivered it the cushions were so soft not the firm cushions we picked out. Forget trying to get miller to resolve it....he always seems busy. We will NEVER EVER buy anything there again. Or believe anything bucks braun says about jim miller Or anything else he says.

just terrible

Took me over 6 months to get my furnature. Didn't get the fabric I originally ordered. Delivery truck broke down on the way, so I had to go pick it up my furniture on the side of the road.

Bad service. Took a rocking chair cushion to see if they could replace the foam in the seat and back. Mr. miller waited on my wife and I,he took us over to the factory to talk to his employ that was gong to reform the cushions. He told us that he would just charge us for the time she used and material . After 10 day we called to see if they where done. We where told yes but did not know how much it would cost ,so we went to pick them up. Mr. miller spent about 20 minute telling us about his life. His employe told him that we need a price he took the employe over to the factory to see if they where done. When he return he told us it would be $80.00 each. My wife told him that was to much. Then he just yelled that that's how much the foam cost and if we didn't like then we could just take them. Then he yelled at his employ to never ever take a job like ours again. I told him that we never talked to her about the Cushon ,that he was the person we dealt with. So now I,am out $160.00 just to fine out the seat Cushon is too big and the back Cushon is to hard. Bottom line don't buy anything from him.

My family has been buying from Jim Miller for years, and all of it is still in good shape (one recliner is older than I am, and the fabric is just worn for my grandpas daily nap) so when it came time for me to buy a recliner, I went to see Mr. Miller. He was so nice and sat and talked with us for quite a while. I love the fact that you can pick out your own fabric. Since we live in Columbus, we called and made payments on the chair and its really just perfect! we couldnt be happier

RIPP OFF

Buyer beware, don't be fooled by this guy. I bought a so called "high quality" piece of furniture from Jim Miller for $800. About a month later I saw the exact same thing at K MART for only $179.99. I feel so taken and fooled. I called them and they said I can't return for a refund only a store credit. Sooooooo livid.

STAY AWAY!! They said our furniture was guaranteed. Within 3 months the fabric started literally rubbing off in our hands. When we complained we were told that only the framing was guaranteed and not the fabric. RIP OFF!!

Bad Service!

I hate to say this since I love to support the local/little guy but their customer service is the worse. I ordered a table in November and didn't get until April. First I heard one guy thought the other was going to order it. Then he blamed in on truckers. I finally threatened to call the company directly for a refund. They asked me to give them two more weeks and what do you know it showed up. Sure seemed like I wasn't ordered. No to mention those people are the rudest and top of the list Jim Miller. Basically after they have your money they can care less.

Dishonest. They did not deliver my furniture on time because they "sold" my special order to someone else. So I had to wait several more months to get my reorder. They promised to waive all delivery fees (a mere $65) as recompense, Weeks later, I called to check on this. Because I had already paid my charge card account... they would not give me a refund of the delivery charge. "The 'boss' said NO." is what we were told. I waited 9 weeks for the furniture.Promise not kept. I will never buy there again. Do not trust what they say to you.

I purchased a couch and love seat recliner for $2,000 about a year ago from Jim Miller Furniture. It was more than what I was hoping to spend but I spent it with the mentality that I was buying good furniture. I was assured that Jim Miller Furniture stands behind their product and offers a 10 year warranty on their products. I called this afternoon to report a few issues related to the reclining aspects of the furniture. I spoke with Jim. He was rude and at some points belligerent. I finally got the information out of him that I needed related to the process of having the furniture worked on under warranty but he was very abrasive. He even tried to lecture me on how he doesnt like his car but there isnt anything he can do about it so he doesnt understand how I should be able to call him and ask him about his products and request repair even though he has a warranty on his product. It took a lot of energy to continue to listen to him as he cut me off in mid sentence throughout the entire phone conversation. I felt like I was the one trying to bring the conversation back to the topic at hand and get to the point but he continued to try and change the conversation back to something combative rather than answer my questions about the furniture. I will bring the furniture in and see what happens but I will have to say that his customer service skills are far different when he is making a sale vs. when someone calls to request work to be done on furniture that is under warranty.

The quality of the furntiture ...

The quality of the furntiture built by hallmark manufacturing is top notch, the craftsmanship is one of a kind, and as a customer, you will leave with the satisfaction of knowing that the Miller family has done their best to get you furniture that is not something you just have to "settle" on, no infact you will have a "custom" piece that will last you a lifetime without having to worry about "what do I do if it does happen to fall apart" (which is a case that is very rare") However, should this be the case, you can rest easy with knowing that Jim Miller and/or Jeff Miller do Infact care about their "customers" and will do what it takes to make the situation right, whatever it may be. As a new employee of the Miller furniture family, yes I agree, Mr. Miller himself can be a bit much at times but please keep in mind that this is a man that has been in the buisness for well over sixty years, so he is obviously doing something right, and as far as Mr. Jeff Miller is concerned, In my opinion he is an amazing salesman, he stands by his word as well as his products, you have to understand that they have been really short handed as far as office help and they themselves can only do so much at a time, but you can bet that you will be taken care of, and I know that there are some things that need to be addressed as far as his csr's are concerned, and that's where I come in, as Mr. Miller's new personal assistant and office manager in training, I myself promise to take care of each and everyone of you that are still behind this company and the Hallmark name, our fabricators in the factory are amazing their work is outta this world, and they too stand behing the Hallmark name. I may be new to this company, but as a "customer" of many places I myself have high expectaions when it comes to customer service, and I expect nothing less but kindness and understanding and most important, doing whatever it takes to make our "customers" happy and thrilled with their choice to purchase from Jim Miller furniture.

Awesome place and service

This place is great. You can pick out your style, fabric, type of seat cushions, it goes on and on with all the things you can do. Plus they have a layaway plan with no time limits no required monthly payments, they let you do what you want with your layaway and it's all free! Very nice staff with a personal touch and Mr. Miller was great and so helpful.

Save your Time, Save your Money, Save Yourself...Go somewhere else

Jim and Jeff Miller are the rudest men I have ever met. Actually, RUDE, CRUDE AND INSENSITIVE!!! They LIE!! They will tell you anything they think you want to hear to get the deal. And after they have your money; Well just forget about Customer Service. It will take months for them to get around to your repairs. And hey keep in mind they didn't do it right the first time so why should they do it any better the second.. They will call you nasty names and demoralize your character. Believe me the new furniture that you have worked hours for and saved for, will fall apart within the first week. If you pay for it by VISA it certainly will fall apart before you get it paid for. But keep in mind that VISA does stand behind you and your purchases through them, but act fast. and hold your ground. Better yet avoid going to Jim Miller Furniture in the first place. Do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can to a quality furniture store. Do your research. Check with the Better Business Bureau. My purchase was not any less than a high end piece made by a top of the line manufacture. It didn't make it through one week of use and got even worst before I got them to pick it up as a return. I'd tell you what the experience was really like but I don't believe they allow that kind of language on the WEB...Anyone that would write a good review on this company would have to be family. And they would lie too, because that's what Millers do...
