Cherokee Health Care

This was a disaster. At first they were all concerned and things and then it was like they didn't believe me. They took me off my seizure medication saying it was in my head, but my new cardiologist says they are because of my heart. I told them of chest pains and things. They sent me to see Dr. Yates at the clinic in Knoxville. All he did was an echo cardiogram and said it was just the way air was hitting my heart. Long story short, 2 weeks ago I had a heart attack and was rushed to Park West. The cardiologist there did a heart cath and found 4 places on my heart that were damaged, He put a stint in one and is hoping this new medicine will help fix the rest. He also has me wearing a Nitro patch 12 hours a day. And he said flat out that if the people at Cherokee Health Services had done their job right, and Dr. Yates had done a heart cath which is the first thing that a cardiologist should do, he would have found the problem and I may not have had the heart attack.
