Mr. Kahn practiced law for a number of years before entering the Real Estate profession in 1979. Mr. Kahn teaches the Contracts and Disclosure Classes at the local Association of Realtors and has chaired the Standard Forms Committee at both C.A.R. and Southland Regional Association of Realtors. Mr. Kahn has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee at the Southland Regional Association of Realtors for many years and was awarded the top honor of Realtor of the Year in 1998 and Realtor Associate of the Year in 1987. Recently, Mr. Kahn served on the task force for CAR that was responsible for creating the current Residential Purchase Agreement used by agents throughout the State of California. Currently Mr. Kahn is on the Risk Management Committee at the Southland Regional Association of Realtors. Of Counsel to Spile, Leff & Goor. Beth, who is licensed in both California and Iowa, has been practicing for over thirty years. The main focus of her practice is defense litigation in the areas of products liability, personal injury, business litigation, construction litigation, and professional liability. More specifically, she has defended manufacturers and distributors of consumer products and heavy machinery, including manufacturers of cars and trucks. She has defended numerous commercial businesses and religious institutions in personal injury, employment and construction matters. She has also defended various professionals in connection with professional liability claims. Beth represents clients throughout Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura and Orange Counties. She is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of California, and the United States District Courts, Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California. She is also a member of the Iowa State Bar Association. Beth completed her undergraduate work at Drake University before graduating from the Law School at Drake in 1984. After law school, Ms. Kooyman served as a judicial clerk for the District Court of Iowa in Polk County. Thereafter, she moved to Los Angeles where she focused on civil litigation. She has worked as a litigator for her entire career. In her free time, Beth enjoys the outdoors, in particular gardening. She also has a deep fondness for animals, in particular her two dogs, Izzy and Charlie.

Throughout his more than ten year career, Chris has specialized in real estate litigation, including but not limited to, the defense of real estate agents and brokers in professional negligence cases; real estate transaction disputes; administrative hearings (Department of Real Estate and Local Boards); and landlord-tenant matters. Additionally, he handles transactional matters, including the drafting and review of real estate documents (purchase agreements, leases, etc.); preparation of corporate documents; and other transactional services. Chris also provides risk management services to the real estate brokerage community, including servicing two of the largest errors and omissions insurance carriers in California. A Southern California resident his entire life, Chris obtained his real estate license at the age of 19 while attending California Lutheran University. Shortly before entering law school, he obtained his real estate broker’s license and opened his first real estate company with his father. While attending Pepperdine University School of Law, Chris maintained exemplary grades while simultaneously operating his real estate brokerage. He was also a staff member for the National Association of Administrative Law Judges Journal and a fellow of the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship & the Law. Chris graduated in 2007. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his beautiful family and close friends. He also is an avid sports fan, which has led to a slight obsession with sports memorabilia. One of his most prized possessions is a Los Angeles Dodger batting helmet that he and his son had signed by 20+ Dodger players while they visited Spring Training in 2018. Chris has also served as an Executive Board Member for Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, a charity that assists the homeless in and around the San Fernando Valley.
