Jordan's House of Seafood

I don't know what is wrong with these other people. I've never has a bad experience here! It is clean, great staff, we are going there tonight. The others must be Yankees, loud, impolite and you can't do enough for them.

I've been going to this place for over 10 years. The seafood is good, but the other menu itema are severely lacking. I wouldnt go here it all if it werent for the snow crab legs. The decor is terrible and the service can be spotty. People will usually wait a long time if they don't get there early enough. Overall, I think it's an island staple, but really needs a new decorator.

After reading reviews we were hesitant but not much open close by this time of year. Obviously a local place but we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant, courteous experience. The food was hot and fresh. Thr server was great...based on tonight I would go back.

Warning to all assuming patrons ..... This place is the absolute rudest !!! The previous yelp review stated the staff is unfriendly, and I second that. Like a lot of working class people we only get to go to the beach once a year, and believe me we weren't prepared to be insulted and mistreated by restaurant staff or Mr. Jordon the owner . If they don't like the tourist they shld close the doors during season. Instead, they disappoint those that are expecting a nice meal. My husband was hit in the back by a waitress that reached between us to slam a pitcher of water on the bar. I guess we were in her way. We then politely asked if we cld sit at a table I. The bar area and we were abruptly told it was reserved. They never offered to sit us somewhere else. We left hungry and angry. I cldnt let it go so I called asked for owner and he didn't want to hear anything I had to say and hung up on me. So, everyone considering Jordons don't do it.

Fried oysters and flounder are usually very good. The location is convenient but the staff including the owner seem to resent their "guests" unless you are a local. We have eaten there for years but the attitude was even less friendly and there are great alternatives now.

RUN away-- Do Not Walk--worse food,,OVER priced,..Bland..no taste,,served luke warm,,except ...for can green beans they ae cold. Thought this was the south???????
