DANCE machine productions began AS footsteps dance competition and held ONE small competition in 2001. In 2002 footsteps dance competition became dance machine productions holding regional competitions and workshops across the SOUTHEAST…WE are NOW expanding to hold events across the united STATES. AT dance machine productions ALL participating studios. Schools. And organizations should give quality dance instruction. Have high moral standards. BE and remain in good standing in their communities. Dance machine competitions are designed to BE a positive learning experience and opportunity for everyone to BE recognized for their accomplishments, a competition where everyone is treated equal regardless if YOU have ONE entry or ONE hundred entries. We want every aspect of your competition experience with dance machine to BE positive and pleasant. We offer over 25 competition categories. SIX overall AGE divisions. And three competition LEVELS. What makes dance machine different? we are nice to everyone and handle each situation AS fair AS possible. We are organized and stay on or ahead of schedule AT every regional competition we have ONE of america’s largest and most respected dance title competitions. Where well rounded dancers are given the opportunity to grow AS a person and a dancer we are honest and fair…we DO NOT show favoritism to a studio just because they Bring the most routines or have the biggest check.         Overall

        Please do not send your dancers here! I have never been to such a bias competition! We went to regional, and we scored Diamond, and were first overall, and had the highest score of the weekend. At every other competition we went to, we got 5 stars, and first place. When we went to Nationals, with the same dance, we performed better than ever. We had tons of people coming up and telling us that was the best dance they had seen all day. We scored High Gold. The entire audience gasped when our score was announced (this is NOT an exaggeration). We thought that there was a mistake, so we went to talk to the director. The director informed us that two of our three judges score sheets were missing. All the director had to say was that these things happen sometimes. My question is how many times does this happen at this competition? How many dances have not had complete scores? I am not a sore loser complaining because I did not win, I go to competitions to get a fair chance at winning, and to get critiques so that I can be a better dancer. That is not what you will find at Dance Machine. There were 2 large studios that won EVERYTHING. If you are a studio that is large and wants to win based on bias relationships with the director then go to Dance Machine. If you are a studio that wants a fair shot at competition, and constructive criticism, then DO NOT ATTEND!!! It was easy to tell that this competition is bias, and we were not given a fair chance! PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND! GIVE YOUR DANCERS A FAIR SHOT AT COMPETITION, WHERE YOU ACTUALLY HAVE ALL SCORE SHEETS WITH YOUR CRITICISM, AND CRITIQUES
