The Department of Public Works of Elk Grove Village comprises two divisions, namely infrastructure and operations division. Based in Elk Grove Village, Ill., the department's infrastructure division oversees leaf collection, large branch collection, tree planting, street resurfacing and concrete programs. It also specializes in traffic sign and pavement marking installation and repair as well as snow and ice control operations. The Department of Public Works of Elk Grove Village operates an operations division that renders an array of services, including water quality monitoring, sanitary sewer cleaning and storm sewer cleaning.
