Geno's Formal Affair

We went to Genos for a prom dress several months ago. The Associates are nice enough and they worked with us on payment of the dress, but the quality of the extremely expensive dress we bought is terrible. I'm sure this isn't the only company out there putting out poorly made yet expensive dresses, but I'd definitely look closely at what you are purchasing for $500!!! Look at the beads (or missing beads), the seams, and, more importantly, the zipper!! The zipper on the to of my daughter's dress is super cheap and came apart the second time she tried on the dress. It's ridiculous to spend over $500 on a dress that has a super cheap zipper.

A VERY UPSET MOMMA. My daughter is in a wedding and this is where the bride wanted to go. Well that's was a huge mistake, the dresses the alterations ladies 3 different ladies to be exact put her in a dress that was nothing like the dresses they were buying for the wedding. She then said this dress it nothing like our bridesmaid dresses we are ordering so this will not work they didn't agree with her, and measured and fitted her and ordered a dress that came in wrong. Color and then . Not only did they have to reorderit is completely the wrong fit some parts swallow her some parts look extremely tight. Wedding is in 10 days. And my daughter isn't the only girl in the wedding who's dress is a mess. I would NEVER refer anyone to GENOS and we have many people with weddings in the future well guess where they won't be buying dresses. This was supposed to be a good time with the girls in the wedding, that's turned out to be a nightmare that has already cost $160.00 And she can't wear that dress.The way the handle business is so unprofessional I'm blown away.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! We came here to get out bridesmaids dresses for a wedding and what should have been an AMAZING time turned out awful! First, the women measuring you have no idea what they are doing! We have some women who have hour glass figures and they measured them completely wrong. The girls who were tiny and ordered their dresses "too large" just in case, got dresses that ended up fitting too tight!! After they ordered a size up from what the women measuring said to do!!! Also, the dresses finally came in completely wrong! So we had to have new dresses made. THE DRESSES HAVE NOW COME IN TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING AND NONE OF THEM FIT!! Genos knows this and says they are not responsible! Never will I tell someone to go here and I will make sure everyone I know DOES NOT do business with these people!!

I love Geno's! I'm extremely picky about special occasion dresses, and I'm plus size, so it's really hard to find anything that works for me. The first time I tried on prom dresses, it was at Bridal Warehouse. I didn't like it at all. Nothing fit and I felt like I was being pushed out of the way for the girls who were thinner than I am. Then I went to Geno's, and it was great! So many dresses in my size! I went back three more times, and probably tried on 20 dresses before I found the perfect one for prom. Stephanie was usually the one that helped me, and she never acted like I was bothering her. Even when I went with friends, they made the experience special for each of us. It's also nice that they register prom dresses so I won't have the same dress as another girl. Now I just have to find another formal occasion to go to so I can go back to Geno's again!

today I went to go look at fromal dresses and the people there were so nice, they helped me and I felt right at home in there store. I didn't find the right size for the dress I wanted but they orderd it. that was nice and I would go back :D
