My wife called Etown appliance for service on our washing machine that was leaking water. They came that afternoon and took the back off of the washer and said the tub was cracked and they recommend that we buy a new washer. When I got home and heard this news I took the back off of the machine to check it out myself. I found water on the tub but the leak was obviously coming from above the tub. I then called them back and asked that they return my call because I had a question regarding the service call. No return call that day so I called again the next day. Again, no return call. At that point we called someone else to look at the washer. They found the problem to be the cold water valve assembly in less than 5 minutes—ordered part and returned to repair the problem. I then tried to get a response from Etown Appliance by email and still no answer. They got my $89.00 for the service (more like non-service) call so don't make a mistake and waste your money with this business!!!

Had a problem with my fridge, which I thought was due to low freon. Called mid-morning and he was there mid-afternoon. Diagnosed the problem as dead condenser fan. Didn't have the part, but rigged up a small external fan to keep the fridge working until the part came in. Part was in two days later and he showed up and got us running again.

All in all, I'm well satisfied. I'd call him again.

Came out and diagnosed my fridge and said they needed to check on a part and would call me back, that was Monday 11/21/16 or Tuesday 11/22/16, today is 11/28/16 and I still haven't heard back. Have called and left messages with no return call.

Trying to get a range top replaced since July 2016, 3 months later still has not been done. Will not answer or return phone calls. Bad business all the way around.

They are hard to get in touch with, don't return service calls and tell you they'll be there and not show up. I'm sorry but good business is to return calls & keep in touch with your appointments if you're running late. Bad business is to avoid it all together. Why are you in the business again Mr. Marcum?
