Garden Quarter Apartments

I moved to this apartment about 3 months ago to be close to work, but now they suddenly changed parking regulation. Visitors cannot park their cars overnight without being towed.



I just bought a new car yesterday night, so I didn t have the parking sticker to put on the car, so I leave it on the parking so in the morning I ll go to the office to get one. When I woke up this morning, the car was towed and the apartment manager wouldn t call the tow company to bring the car back. When I called to towed company, they guy I spoke to said Bring $172 or we ll keep the car .



If you re looking for a friendly place to live, don t rent here. Some of my co-workers wanted to rent here after I told them that I moved to this apartment to be closed to work, so I would have to advise them not to come to leave here anymore.

Don't move to this apartment complex. We moved in around october of 2008 and have felt so stupid since. They lie and treat you real nice until you sign the lease. After look out they will tell you to your face that you are wrong. I was told twice over the phone that there are two air conditioners in each apartment. even when we went to look through there show apartments there were two in each apartment. However, when we moved it was a little cold so i didn't think twice about the cover over the place where there should have been an air conditioner. It rained a few days later and the cover started to leak, my husdand took off the cover to find a huge hole in the wall, NO AIR CONDITIONER. I called the office to question it and they told me that i was never told that there would be two. When i told them that not only was i told twice by two different people but i was also show apartments that had two and megan pointed it out that they were nice and high so i didn;t have to worry about my 2 or 6 month old touching them. they refused to help me and when winter rolled around the heat wouldn't turn off. it was 90 degrees in our apartment i had to open the windows and block off the bedrooms so the kids wouldn't get sick but so it was comfortable to live at the same time. Now its the end of april and getting hotter everyday, yesterday we all had to sleep on the floor in the living room because it was to hot and our only air conditioner doesn't even work. I couldn't leave the windows open in the kids room because the screen falls out if you look at it wrong, its just to dangerous for 2 toddlers to be in unsupervised. we slept on the floor with the fan blowing and patio door open (that screen door locks thank god). don't move here there are nice much nicer places to live and the same price. good luck if you do decide to move here i have filed with the BBB and hopefully they can get these people to care.
