Bienvivir Senior Health Services is El Paso’s only PACE (Program for the All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly) provider. The objective of PACE is to enable frail elderly persons to remain independent and reside in their own homes and communities for as long as it is desired and medically possible. Key components of the program are the comprehensive adult day healthcare centers and the Interdisciplinary Team. The day health centers serve as the sites where the elderly person receives most services in one setting. The Interdisciplinary Team is comprised of health care professionals and allied health staff whom evaluate, develop a care plan, and directly provide all necessary services. Bienvivir provides comprehensive health care in three facilities to elderly who have been assessed as needing skilled nursing care. Under the PACE system, services are paid by Medicare, Medicaid, and/or private pay premiums. Eligibility is determined according to State and Federal guidelines.
