This builder should really think about getting out of residential sector of building, he has no pride in his build. If I could have the option to give him no stars that is what I would choose...Randy Portnoy is the builders name, his companies he builds under are Randy Homes Llc, Portnoy builders , Randy Portnoy Builders. Quality is non exsitent when it comes to this builder, your house will start to unravel with problem after problem with money coming out of your savings to fix all his incompetent work, $17, 000 out of our pocket so far and we haven't even been here a year. Think twice ,three times before you really invest your money and heart into a new home built by this builder, you will be left with an empty pocket and a lot of tears!!!!

Second guess your every decision when it comes to buying a Portnoy Builders Aka Randy Homes Aka Randy Portnoy Builders home!!! The facade may be enticing but don't let that fool you, you have to stay on top of this builder if you decided to have a home built or are buying a already completed home.You have to go over every little inch of documentation and the actual home to make sure you are getting what you are paying for and for quality control, as this builder will put the cheapest materials in to gain more profit for himself, there is no pride in finish product. . If you are unhappy about anything he has done he will walk out on you, call you names, blame it on anyone but himself, I've never seen such unprofessional-ism.. Sub contractors are questionable..Work is sloppy and not at par...Do Not close with this builder with a punch list, make sure everything you are unhappy with during the final walk through is taken care of or hold money back as he will not honor the punch list after close...As for the warranty this home builder offers don't be fooled by that, its all for making you feel at ease to buy his homes, he DOES NOT stand by it at all!!! I want to put this review out as we had a home built by him and truly regret we ever bought it!! We have waited a long time to have our family in our own home again and this has turned into a nightmare dealing with this builder.If I can prevent another family from dealing with the unhappiness that comes along with purchasing a home from this builder then my review has done its job. ALWAYS second guess EVERYTHING!!!! if you decide to purchase from Portnoy Builders aka Randy Homes aka Randy Portnoy Homes . I'm truly Disapointed in every aspect of the word with this builder, he has made what is supposed to be a wonderful experience into one that has left us forking out all our savings to fix all his inadequate work that he said and signed that he would fix.....On a side note this was NOT a 230k home purchased in EHT it was a 400k purchase..

These guys are INCREDIBLE! Where else can you get a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath new construction home in EHT for under $230k? Their homes come standard with all stainless appliances, stone backsplash in the kitchen, granite countertops, ceiling fans and crown molding in every room. High grade laminate flooring with a 25 year warranty. Marble gas fireplaces. These homes sell themselves. MANY happy clients, thanks!

Portnoy Builders constructed our home in Atlantic County, New Jersey. We put a deposit on the house just after the stick build and before the electric went in. Things were going pretty smooth up until the finish work started. Our tile and fiberglass insert shower were installed incorrectly (grout missing and plumbing not strapped inside walls), granite counter tops had .75 inch gaps between the wall and backsplash. Additionally, the granite was not sealed which we stained the very first evening . Furthermore, the wall board was finished with one coat of spackle, one coat of flat paint (we requested Satin), and zero primer. The result were walls that looked like mini stucco in some places with tape marks were ever there was a wallboard seam. In summary quality control is non existent within Portnoy Builders. Do your family a favor – Do not purchase a PORTNOY BUILDER HOME!
