Overall

I recently had a dental emerge...

I recently had a dental emergency. I had heard great things about Dr. Sam Ward. They got me right in and took excellent care of me. I have been to see him twice and have been very pleased both times. I would recommend Dr. Ward and his staff to anyone! I know I will be back!!!

Dental Sealants
A sealant is made of resin material that is applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth and flows into the pits and grooves in the teeth. Sealants prevent the collection of bacteria and are a very effective preventive treatment for children and teenagers.

Resin Composite fillings, also known as “tooth-colored” or “white” fillings are used to replace tooth structure damaged by cavities or other forms of tooth structure loss.
Crowns
A crown is a restoration used when a tooth is severely broken or decayed. They are designed to replace missing tooth structure, and cover the entire tooth. Crowns utilize the remaining tooth structure for support and in turn protect the tooth from further damage or decay. Crowns are made with metal, porcelain, or a combination of metal and porcelain.

General Dentistry
Dr. Sam Ward is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Dental School, and is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He practices General Dentistry and is happy to see patients of all ages, including children. Dr. Ward is originally from Lawton, OK and moved to Edmond to attend Oklahoma Christian University, where he earned a degree in Biology, graduating with honors. While at Oklahoma Christian, Dr. Ward participated in several mission opportunities, traveling to Memphis and Mexico, to treat the dental needs of the underprivileged. In recent years, Dr. Ward has participated in the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy, a free dental clinic for the underprivileged. Dr. Ward is married to Crislyn, an Edmond native, and they have one son and one daughter together. In his spare time, Dr. Ward enjoys watching and playing sports, reading, playing his acoustic guitar, and spending as much time as possible with family and friends. The Ward Family is excited to be part of the Edmond community and look forward to being a staple in the local landscape for many years to come.
