Bel Air Taxi

These are really lovely people, they just become very busy and sometimes get backed up. We have had a lovely experience with them, and only one time were we late to an event, because it was a very busy evening for them. The most disrespectful cab ride i ever experienced. the driver was late and had the audacity to charge me 2 bucks more than i'm used to paying. when i called in to the cab company, i was told that he was right and that he can sometimes come off as rude. the driver told me that he was not pulling off until i paid in advance, and even stated that he felt i wasn't going to pay the fare once he took me to my destination. he yelled at me and told me to get out of his vehicle if i wasn't going to pay in advance. this morning has been the most draining for me. i have never been treated like this from a taxi driver in my entire life.

This taxi-service is sucks.

They don't even deserve a rating .

Was told the wait would be about an hour. Waited an hour and a half and when i called again, the dispatcher told me that someone came for me but i wasnt there...even though i never left the front of the business where i called from. Waited another hour (2 1/2 total) and called again and the dispatcher hung up on me. I could've walked home in that time span. I'd rate this place negative stars if i could.

I can’t believe how unprofessional this business is! I called the number listed, but immediately got a rude man who told me, after I said I needed a taxi and where to pick my friends and me up and drop us off, call 410-272-3000!



I started to look for other taxi companies, but was having a hard time finding one open 24/7 that was nearby, so I called the number and reserved a taxi with Kate. I gave her my number.



First, the taxi driver never called to let us know he was outside the hotel. I called Kate back and she let me know he was outside the hotel.



Second, the driver ended up purposely taking the wrong route and charged us double. We found this out after we rode back to the hotel in a taxi from another company. We sensed something was up, but being our first time, went with the flow.



Third, the taxi driver who picked up a group of drunk douches who ran to the taxi faster than we could, like it was a race, did not even identify us or tell the guys to get out when I called to let a rep, it may have been Kate again, know we were waiting for our taxi. She said the taxi driver told her he picked up another group. She also said that another taxi would pick us up in 10-15 minutes and gave no apology!



Thank goodness less than 10 minutes later a taxi driver from another taxi company drove in the parking lot and happily agreed to take us back to the hotel since he had a no show at a bar close to where we were. It is ironic because Bel Air Taxi did not call to let us know our driver arrived, but they called when we were not there to get picked up! I did not answer; I saw no sense in yelling at them since they know they are incompetent.



I learned my lesson, but I just wanted to give people a head’s up just in case they are considering using this company.

We were DESPERATE for a taxicab. Our car was at the nearby dealership (2.2 miles away), they called to say it was ready for pickup, and it was raining really bad. I called probably 5 different places and none of them served the area where I live (Bel Air, MD.) I even called a local bar to see if they could recommend a source. NOTHING. I found, for probably a 3rd time...THIS place. I had read the reviews (2) and had avoided it. However... When I called, the dispatcher quickly understood what I needed & didn't hesitate getting our address and the address we needed to be driven to. My boyfriend and I decided to go outside to wait for the cab, and it was pulling up!!!! Not even 3 minutes after we called. He said the cab was sufficient, even though it wasn't the newest vehicle. He said it didn't stink, and had cold a/c!!!! The 2.2 mile ride cost him $8.00, but he gave the driver $15.00

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I could give this company 2 negative stars, I would. I concur with jess887, this is a horrendous taxi company. I also called two hours prior requesting a taxi and three hours later I was informed, by a different dispatcher, no taxi was scheduled too pick me up. I was told they could have a driver to me in 30 to 45 minutes. I told them, “No thank you, I’ve already wasted three hours of life I will never get back.” DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Do not use this taxi service if you would like to a) get where you are going in comfort- we used them this evening their vehicles were broken down disgustingly filthy without air conditioning or any other redeeming qualities; b) if you would like to arrive on time for anything- we called two hours in advance to ensure our cab would arrive at the time we needed it and it was a full half hour late! We had to call in multiple times to find out where our cab was and were blatantly lied to. c) if you would like to be charged fairly- during the first cab ride we were told their rates were flat fees based on distance we were charged different amounts each time for the same exact route.



The only way they had a five star listing has to be their own review.



Find another company to use.
