Marnie and Tom have been amazing with our very anxious rescue. Our dog is fearful and barks loudly at almost everyone but he quickly warmed to both of them and now looks forward to seeing them. It has been such a relief for us to know that our dog will be well taken care of with a true dog whispering team when we are not home!

Marnie and Thomas have been wonderful for our dogs. They helped us with our aging Lab, and were so kind and attentive with all of his meds and needs while we were away. Our new puppy is a handful, and their help keeping her exercised and happy (while we are working) is a Godsend! So grateful for their services, and would definitely recommend them!

Our two dogs love getting visits from Marnie & Thomas! We have used their service for three years and highly recommend them. They are reliable, take very good care of the dogs, are attentive to medication needs and other details, and keep us in the loop on every visit with text updates and pictures. Tom and Marnie are fantastic! They have watched our 1 year old golden several times and Marlo is always so excited to see them. This of course makes us much more comfortable when we go away! They are trustworthy and so attentive to Marlo. We get frequent updates and photos letting us know she is happy and doing fine! They truly love animals and love what they do! Tom has also worked with us on training and they are both so knowledgeable and happy to give suggestions and answer questions we have!

Very flexible, careful & responsible care of my two cats for the past year since I adopted them. Even though the cats were pretty scared of people first, Tom has slowly gained their trust and they now regularly come out to greet and play with him.

We use Together By My Side regularly for our two dogs. Whether they come over to walk the dogs or stay over and care for an extended stay, we know we can rely on them to treat our dogs as we do. Our dogs get very excited every time they see Tom and Marnie that we don't have to feel guilty leaving them. I highly recommend their services!!

Tom and Marnie have been a blessing. My one year old Yellow Lab Boomer has been cared for by both Tom and Marnie for the last year. They are beyond accommodating to my family and Boomer. Boomer loves visits at the house as well as visits away from home. Boomer's behavior (going from a young crazy Lab to a well (almost) behaved and trained young adult) has been amazing and in large part based on the care and love they provide to Boomer. I would strongly recommend Tom and Marnie's services. They could not be more caring, experienced, and accommodating!

Our dog, Spike, is older and has some issues requiring medications so we have usually stayed close to home. This year we wanted to take a vacation overseas and wanted to be sure Spike would be taken care of while in our home. Tom and Marnie of Together By My Side came to the rescue big time. For two weeks Spike was fed and let out on his regular schedule and received all his medications as usual. Tom stayed with Spike at our house overnight and sent regular text updates and pictures so we could see how he was doing while we were away. It was very reassuring and allowed us to enjoy our vacation. We would not have gone if we were not comfortable that everything would be taken care of. Tom even watered some house plants for us that looked better when we returned than when we left. If you love your dog these are the people to look after him when you can't be there.

When our daughters begged and pleaded for us to get a puppy, my husband and I had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Thank goodness for Thomas! Not only did he take great care of Toby while my husband and I were working, he also helped with his general obedience training. Together By My Side even provided us with a “Puppy Starter Kit,” which included age appropriate toys and treats. If you get a new puppy, and you ever need help, call Thomas & Marnie. They really helped with our “puppy problems.”

I couldn't recommend this business more highly! I used Marnie and Tom to take care of a mama cat and her four young kittens that I was fostering. I am so happy I used them. Marnie and Tom came over twice a day and did a fantastic job with both the cat and her kittens. They changed her litter, cleaned up her messy litter mess, fed mama, made sure mama was feeding the kittens, cleaned kitten bottoms, and played with everyone. They emailed me updates, and sent pictures. They were fantastic and I will use them again next time I go away.

I worked with Marnie when we volunteered to help get a new shelter built in her hometown. Marnie was passionate about making sure this shelter was built. This was a multi-year project that showed how her love of animals translates to more than just lip service. I would trust that if Marnie and her team were caring for your little ones, they would be in loving hands.

Marnie and Thomas have been caring for our two beloved Golden Retrievers and we could not be more pleased. They are extremely caring, very professional and provide regular communications on how the dogs are doing. When they come to walk the dogs, they spend lots of time playing with them or taking them on long walks. Recently we also had them begin training the dogs to walk properly on leash, and they have made incredible progress in a short time. We highly recommend Marnie and Thomas – two wonderful people who deeply care about dogs and their customers.

I have known Thomas for over a decade. He has taken care of my 13-year-old rescue dog, Amos, many times while we were living in San Diego. I could tell the love that Thomas had for animals right from the start. When I would drop Amos off to spend the weekend at Thomas’ house, my little man would get so excited as soon as we neared his home!!! I was always at ease, and stress free during my vacations, as I knew that my very best friend was in the most capable of hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend Thomas!
